2. Sakata Gintoki
Sakata Gintoki alias Shiroyasa is the main protagonist in the Gintama story. He is a true samurai who is very strong and always upholds justice. Even though he has a very comedic side, he can transform into a different character when he's in serious mode.
In addition to fighting for the beliefs he holds, Gintoki is also willing to fight for other people who are precious to him. He often met enemies who were much stronger than him. 1. Master Shouyou/Utsuro
Master Shouyou is the teacher of Gintoki and his friends. He is a kind-hearted samurai and a teacher figure who is highly respected by Gintoki. He was killed by Gintoki during the Joui war. Shouyou's death left a very deep wound for Gintoki and his friends.
Unbeknownst to them, Shouyou's figure is actually a very feared monster
named Utsuro. Utsuro has the ability to absorb alkanes so he can live forever
