Attack on Titan is one of the most popular anime which was adapted from Hajime Isayama's manga This anime tells the story of the battle of humans living within walls against the Titans who threaten their lives.
In this anime, there are many strong and interesting characters that decorate the storyline. Therefore, I want to share about the best characters in AoT based on my perspective. So, let's talk about it right away.
10. Krista Lenz
This pretty girl was originally a cadet who joined the Survey Corps. She is very beautiful and liked by several characters, such as Ymir, Armin, and Reiner. In addition, she also has a high concern for her friends.
However, Krista is not her real name. She has the real name Historia. In addition, Historia also had the potential to inherit the power of Founding Titan. After the military forces succeeded in coupling the members of the fake kingdom, Historia was then appointed queen of the kingdom.
9. Connie Springer

One of the advantages of Jean is that he is very good at seeing situations and making the right decisions depending on the conditions. However, he admits that he is not a great planner like Armin. Just like Connie, Jean also grows into a strong fighter as he battles the Titans.

During the first battle against Titan, Eren sacrificed himself to save Armin. However, Eren's true strength awakens while he is in the Titan's belly. Eren was able to turn into a Titan after being injected with Titan serum and eating his father.
Eren then fought with all military forces to reclaim the Rose and Maria Walls that had been broken and eradicate all Titans and the enemies behind them. However, he went through difficult phases because he had lost many of his comrades in arms.
5. Armin Alert
This good friend of Eren is one of the main assets owned by the Survey Corps. Although he is a coward and often trembles when faced with Titans, Armin has a very intelligent and genius brain.
Armin is always able to devise a plan in critical situations that often leads the Survey Corps to victory. There is a lot of evidence that shows Armin's intelligence, such as the plan to cover Rose's broken wall with a giant rock using Eren's powers, revealing Annie's identity as a Female Titan, and her plan to fight the Colossal Titans.
In his fight against the Colossal Titan, Armin showed his very heroic actions and he was not afraid to sacrifice himself. Even though he was dying because his whole body was burned, Armin finally managed to survive after being injected with Titan serum and eating Beltort to take over the power of the Colossal Titan.

4. Erwin Smith
Next, there is the former commander of the Survey Corps who is very intelligent and skilled at strategizing as well as being respected by all his subordinates. Erwin Smith is the son of a history teacher. His father was killed by the military because he was too critical in questioning the existence of the wall and human life within the wall.
Erwin grew up holding full faith in his father's theory. He wants to prove the secret of the wall as well as the Titans that threaten humanity. The key to unlocking the secret is the basement of Eren's house. To achieve that goal, Erwin is willing to sacrifice anything and even his own life.
Unfortunately, Erwin died on the mission to close the wall of Maria. Although he can be saved by turning into a Titan, captain Levi apparently prefers Armin to be revived. Ironically, he died before knowing the truth behind the wall.

Zoe Hange was originally one of the captains of the Survey Corps who was very interested in the existence of Titan. THey has done various researches and captured several Titans as experimental material to uncover the secrets behind the Titans.
When they meets Titan, Hange is always excited and goes wild. They also became more enthusiastic about the presence of Eren who could turn into a Titan. Thanks to their long-standing investigation, Hange discovers the truth that Titans were originally human.
Apart from that, Hange is one of the most formidable fighter. They did not hesitate to kill anyone who poses a threat to the enemy of mankind. After Erwin's death, Hange is choosen in charge of the Survey Corps commander.

In second place, there is Mikasa Ackerman who is Eren's best friend. She has a quiet demeanor and cares deeply for Eren. She is even willing to sacrifice his life as well as kill anyone endangering Eren's life.
As a descendant of Ackerman, Mikasa has strength that is far superior to other characters. She was extremely strong and is considered one of the best cadets in military history. Mikasa can move very fast using the 3D maneuver engine and she has eradicated many Titans.
Mikasa's true strength was awakened when she was a child when she was kidnapped by a group of criminals. To survive and save Eren, she did not hesitate to kill the criminal. Because of that dark period, Mikasa grew up to be a formidable fighter and could be considered a killing machine in combat.
1. Levi Ackerman
In first place, there is Levi Ackerman whose popularity cannot be doubted. Levi is the captain of a special squad of reconnaissance troops who are very liked by fans. He has a calm, mysterious nature, and is also very strong, moreover he is a descendant of Ackerman.
Levi is very skilled at using the 3D maneuver engine and he is able to move very quickly. Not only that, he was also able to eradicate several Titans at once in a short time. In the past, Levi was a city thug and he grew up under the care of his uncle, Kenny Ackerman who is known as a serial killer.
One proof of Levi's frightening power is when Levi is dealing with the Beast Titan. In that battle, Levi quickly finished off the Beast Titan, making the Titan unable to move at all. For this reason, Levi Ackerman is considered a very dangerous threat to the Titans.
