In Black Clover, there is a group of evil creatures known as devils. The devils live in the Underworld connected to the Qliphoth Tree. In addition, they have a very cruel nature and like to mess around.
Basically, the devils in the Underworld would not be able to enter the human world. They could enter the human world freely if the gates of the Qliphoth Tree were opened. But, they could make contracts with humans who wished to use their powers through special rituals.
In this article, we want to review the list of devils that have been introduced in the Black Clover.
1. Zagred

Zagred is one of the high-level devil as well as the mastermind behind the hostility that occurs between humans and elves. In addition to having a cruel nature, he is very cunning and likes to look down on humans and elves.
Zagred has a very interesting Kotodama Magic. He is able to use his words to change anything around him, including creating physical objects or magical objects. Zagred's power was so strong that the captains of the Clover Kingdom had trouble.
2. Lucifero

Lucifero is a high-level devil connected to the Qliphoth Tree and one of the three rulers of the the Underworld. Lucifero entered into a contract with the leader of the Dark Triad named Dante Zogratis.
In terms of strength, Lucifero possessed extremely terrifying gravity magic. He can increase the gravitational power around him. The power of gravity makes Lucifero very difficult to defeat.
3. Beelzebub

Just like Lucifero, Beelzebub is also one of the rulers of the Underworld as well as a high-level devil connected to the Qliphoth Tree. He had entered into a contract with Zenon Zofree, one of the higher-ups of the Dark Triad.
Beelzebub has spatial magic aka space magic that allows him to manipulate space. By using the power of Beelzebub, Zenon became very strong and he was able to take down the entire Golden Dawn members without difficulty.
4. Astaroth
Astaroth is one of the strongest devil from Qliphoth Tree. Along with Lucifero and Beelzebub, he used to be known as the ruler of the devils of the Underworld. However, he suddenly disappeared so that his position as ruler was replaced by Megicula.
One of the interesting facts about this devil is that Astaroth has Time Magic. Moreover, he entered into a contract with Lucius Zogratis who turned out to be the real identity of Julius Novachrono. It certainly surprised the fans.

5. Megicula

This devil contracted by Vanica is a high level devil in the Underworld who took over Astaroth's position. In addition, Megicula is the reason behind the curse suffered by Noelle's mother and princess Lolopechka.
The main strength of Megicula is Curse Magic which allows her to inflict terrible curses on her targets. However, Megiucla is also capable of mastering other magic, such as Blood Magic and Steel Magic.
6. Lucifugus

Lucifugus is a high-level devil in the Qliphoth Tree who has a large build. He was introduced in Nacht Faust's flashback. After successfully making a contract with four devils, Nacht tries to summon Lucifugus.
However, the ritual of summoning Lucifugus ended in tragedy in which Morgen aka Nacht's twin brother was killed. Although Lucifugus' magical abilities are still a mystery, it is clear that he has great power because he is a high-level devil.
7. Lilith

Lilith is a high-level devil from the Qlipoth Tree who was released into the real world. She and another devil named Nahamah had a chance to wreak havoc in the Spade Kingdom and fought fiercely against Jack The Ripper and Nacht Faust.
Lilith has an interesting magic called Demon Ice Magic. With that magic, she was able to freeze anything, including shadows and light. In addition, she is able to turn her body into ice to dodge the opponent's attacks.
8. Nahamah

As mentioned earlier, Nahamah is a high-level devil who managed to escape into the real world after the first gate of the Qlipoth Tree opened. She and Lilith had been involved in a fierce battle against Nacht Faust.
Unlike Lilith, Nahamah has a very interesting Demon Fire Magic. Nahamah is able to burn anything with her magic. In addition, Nahamah is able to use a variety of interesting fire attacks to make Nacht difficult.

9. Adrammelech
Unlike Lilith and Nahamah, Adrammelech is a high-ranking devil who lived in the second level of the Qliphoth Tree. This devil is quite interesting because she dared to refuse orders from Lucifero.
When Lucifero fought fiercely against the captains, Adrammelech instead of helping but watching the two of them fight. After Lucifero is defeated, Adrammelech praises Asta and Liebe's victory.
10. Gimodelo
Unlike the previous devils, Gimodelo is a mid-level devil who has a contract with Nacht Faust. He first appears when Nacht reveals himself in front of an angry Asta after his captain was kidnapped.
After establishing a contract, Nacht is automatically able to use Gimodelo's abilities and merge into one in Unite Mode: Canis. In that form, Nacht gains the ability to create a group of dog-like clones from shadows.
11. Slotos
Like Gimodelo, Slotos is also a mid-level devil contracted by Nacht Faust. Slotos first appears in the story when Nacht interrupts a meeting of the captains.
When using the power of Slotos, Nacht is able to transform into Unite Mode: Equus. This form gives Nacht the advantage in terms of physical defense. With this form, Nacht is able to move without difficulty in strong gravitational fields.
12. Plumede
The third mid-level devil contracted by Nacht is Plumede. Like Slotos, Nacht first shows Plumede's existence when he interrupts an important meeting of the captains.
When joining Plumede, Nacht is able to use Unite Mode: Felis. In that form, Nacht's speed increases so drastically that he is able to dodge enemy attacks with ease.
13. Walgner

Walgner is the last devil contracted by Nacht Faust. Like the previous three devils, Walgner was also a mid-level demon. Moreover, he first appeared when the captains had an important meeting.
When using Walgner's powers, Nacht can use Unite Mode: Gallus. In that form, Nacht can make a loud crow sound that makes anyone who hears it paralyzes for a while.
14. Liebe

Liebe is the most interesting devil in the Black Clover. He is a low-level devil who is very weak because he does not have magic so he is often ostracized by the demons in the Underworld.
On the other hand, Liebe has a unique power called Anti Magic which allows him to nullify any magical power. Liebe's ability is the source of Asta's strength in the fight against his enemies.
After meeting with Nacht, Asta then performs a special ritual to make a contract with Liebe. Normally, a contract maker would force a devil to obey his orders. However, Asta instead makes a contract for the devil to become his friend.
