Phantom Lord is one of the strongest guilds in Ishgar. This guild has several members who are fairly tough and have interesting magic. However, this guild was disbanded by the Magic Council after they launched an attack on the Fairy Tail guild.

5. Sol
Sol is a member of the Element 4 team. Sol's appearance looks very eccentric and he has a speaking style with a French accent. Even so, Sol is fairly tough in battle.
With earth magic, Sol has an interesting variety of earth elemental attacks. For example, he can create rocks from the ground and then use them to attack opponents.
4. Juvia Lockser
Before joining Fairy Tail, Juvia had joined the Phantom Lord group. She belongs to members of Element 4. While fighting Fairy Tail, Juvia is involved in a fierce battle against Gray.
Juvia is very good at using water magic. In addition to controlling water in battle, Juvia is even able to turn her body into a liquid. After fighting Gray, Juvia fell in love with him and was very infatuated with Gray.

3. Totomaru
Like Sol and Juvia, Totomaru is one of Element 4's with attractive powers. He has a rather funny nature and was involved in a fierce battle against Natsu.

2. Gajeel Redfox
At the beginning of his appearance, Gajeel is a very dangerous enemy for the Fairy Tail guild. While still in Phantom Lord, Gajeel was an S-class mage. Because of this, he was considered one of the Phantom Lord's strongest members.
Just like Natsu, Gajeel is able to use Iron Dragon Slayer magic. He gains the power from a dragon named Metallicana. During the battle between Fairy Tail vs Phantom Lord, Gajeel fought very fiercely against Natsu.
1. Jose Porla
As the master of the Phantom Lord guild, Jose Porla's strength may not need to be doubted. Like Makarov, Jose was part of the 10 Holy Witches. However, Jose chooses the wrong path and starts a battle against Fairy Tail.
In terms of strength, Jose Porla uses a unique magic called Shade. With that magic, Jose is able to manipulate black creatures that are similar to ghosts. Even though Jose is very strong, Makarov manages to defeat him with Fairy Law's magic.
