SWORD is a Marine Headquarters Secret Special Force. Although the motives and backgrounds of this organization are still mysterious, they most likely have an important and dangerous mission.
So far, there are 5 members of SWORD who have been introduced in the story. Check out the more information below!
1. X-Drake
X-Drake is known as one of the Supernovas who first appeared in Sabaody Archipelago Arc. He had infiltrated the Beast pirates until he got the trust of Kaido to become a member of Tobi Roppo.
No one expected that Drake is the captain of a secret organization called SWORD that works secretly. It was revealed during the Wano Arc. There's possibilty that he joined Beast Pirates to gather the information for Navy.
2. Coby
Before joined the navy, Coby was just a servant on Alvida's ship. His life changed drastically after he met Luffy. He began to pursue his dream to be great navy. During his time in the navy, Coby trained very hard under Garp's guidance.
He also grew stronger slowly until he got a high position as Captain. Beside, he was involved in important events, such as the Rocky Port Incident. In addition, he is also a member of the SWORD.
3. Prince Grus
In chapter 1061, there is some interesting information that reveals the other members of SWORD. One of them was a Rear Admiral named Prince Grus. Because his position higher than Coby, it's possible that he is stronger than Coby and his strength is close to Drake.
Interestingly, Prince Grus once appeared in the cover story of the story. He was involved in a conflict against the Firetank pirate group led by Bege.
4. Helmeppo
The news that Helmeppo is from SWORD was mentioned in the One Piece special volume 4000000000 entitled "RED" . This is not surprising because he is a partner of Coby.
Helmeppo was initially known as a weak character. However, he has grown into a strong and powerful navy. Thanks to his hard work, he was able to reach the position of Lieutenant Commander.
5. Hibari
Another SWORD member introduced in chapter 1061 is a girl named Hibari. She and Helmeppo worried about Coby being kidnapped by the Blackbeard pirates.
Even though her background is still mysterious, it's likely that Hibari is stronger than Helmeppo considering her position as Commander.
