Kamen Rider Kiva is a very unique Kamen Rider series because the story of Kamen Rider uses a vampire theme. Not only that, there are several Riders who have interesting powers in battle. Who are they? Check out the full review below!
1. Kamen Rider Kiva
Wataru Kurenai is a half-human Fangire who is very unique. He has a closed nature and is less able to get along with other people. However, he inherited talent from his father so he is very good at playing the violin.
Wataru transforms into Kamen Rider Kiva by utilizing a bat named Kivat-Bat 3rd. As Kiva, Wataru fights to protect innocent people from the threat of the evil Fangire.
In addition to relying on Kiva's strength, Wataru is also assisted by three monsters who have special powers, namely Garulu, Bashaa, and Dogga. The three monsters had promised Otoya to protect Wataru.
2. Kamen Rider Ixa
Kamen Rider Ixa is a secondary rider who appears in Kiva's story. The Ixa system is specially designed to fight against the Fangire. The Ixa system development process can take quite a long time until the system is completely safe to use.
Although there are many characters capable of using the Ixa system, the main Ixa user is Keisuke Nego, a core member of the Wonderful Blue Sky Organization. He is very skilled in fighting so Ixa's strength is very suitable for him.
Kamen Rider Ixa has two main modes, namely Save Mode and Burst Mode. In fighting, Ixa is equipped with an interesting weapon called the Ixa Calibur. In addition, Ixa's strength will increase drastically after entering the final form Rising Ixa.
3. Kamen Rider Proto Ixa
As the name implies, Kamen Rider Proto Ixa is an imperfect prototype because this system still needs improvements to make it safe to use. Proto Ixa began to be used in 1986 against the Fangire.
Unlike the Ixa system that has been perfected, Proto Ixa is very burdensome to the user's body. In addition, Proto Ixa only has a Save Mode because Burst Mode at that time was still in the development stage.
Although there are several characters who have used Proto Ixa, the main user of this rider system is Otoya Kurenai. He uses this system to assist Yuri in eradicating Fangire.
4. Kamen Rider Saga
Taiga is the son of King and Queen as well as the older brother of Wataru. Unlike his sister, Taiga was born as a pure Fangire so he has great strength. He even inherited his father's power to become the king of the Fangire.
Unlike King, Taiga still has good qualities in him. He had a conflict with Wataru because of love problems. He was angry when he learned of the relationship between Mio and Wataru.
By utilizing the Jacordar and Sagarc Belt, Taiga is able to transform into Kamen Rider Saga. He used to use that power to execute Fangire who had close ties to humans.
5. Kamen Rider Dark Kiva
King is known as the king of the very overpowered Fangire. In addition to having the power of Fangire, King is able to transform into Kamen Rider Dark Kiva by utilizing Kivat-Bat 2nd. He is the main enemy that must be defeated by Kiva in the story.
After being betrayed by Maya aka Queen, King feels so angry that he tries to destroy Otoya. Of course, Otoya's strength is not comparable to King who has great power as Bat Fangire and Dark Kiva.
Basically, the power of Dark Kiva can only be used by a Fangire. However, Otoya is shown to be able to use Dark Kiva's powers for some time. Of course, it was very risky for Otoya that he died at the end of the story.
6. Kamen Rider Arc
Kamen Rider Arc is the main enemy that appears in Kamen Rider Kiva: King of the Castle in the Demon World. In the past, he was known as the leader of the Legendorga race which was so dangerous that he was sealed in a coffin by the real Kiva.
Arc managed to get up by possessing a man Takashi Sugimura and draining his life energy. He then gathered strength and his men to restore its former glory.
Kamen Rider Arc is very interesting because of his very tall body size. Not only that, he has various interesting abilities that make him difficult to beat. He was even able to make Wataru submit to his orders for a while.
7. Kamen Rider Rey
Like Arc, Kamen Rider Rey is one of the interesting enemies that appears in Kamen Rider Kiva: King of the Castle in the Demon World. Rey's powers are possessed by a man named Takato Shiramine.
Shiramine is a member of the 3WA organization that researches the demon race. After researching Kiva, 3VA also developed a rider system named Rey. Normally, an ordinary human would be killed while using the system.
In order to become a user of Rey's system, Shiramine is willing to become part of the Legendorgas and serve the Arc. In fighting, Kamen Rider Rey uses a claw weapon called the Gigantic Claw. Not only that, he is a troublesome opponent for Kiva and Ixa.
