Bleach presents a world that is closely related to spiritual things. In this anime, there are many races or creatures that have great spiritual power with certain characteristics.

1. Shinigami
Shinigami are spiritual beings whose main task is to guide the souls of humans who have died. They have high spiritual energy as well as interesting weapons called Zanpakuto.
In addition, Shinigami have a duty to eradicate Hollows who are causing chaos in the human world. They have the power to purify the soul of a Hollow and guide him back to the right path.
2. Quincy
Quincy is a group of humans who have the special ability to detect and eradicate Hollows. They are able to create weapons made of Reishi to destroy any Hollow they encounter.
Unlike Shinigami, Quincy do not have the power to purify Hollow souls. Because of that, they were once considered an enemy that Shinigami had to destroy in order to maintain the balance of the world.
3. Hollow
Unlike the two previous creatures, Hollows are monsters that are created when a human soul is lost in the human world for a long time. Moreover, they were unable to reach Soul Society for various reasons.
Hollows love to prey on the souls of other creatures. They live in a place known as Hueco Mundo. Nonetheless, they are able to cross into the human world to wreak havoc.
4. Arrancar
Arrancar are Hollows who have removed their masks and gained Shinigami powers. They were created by Aizen by utilizing an item called the Hogyoku which holds tremendous power.
Unlike Hollows in general, Arrancar have characteristics that are almost similar to humans. In addition, they have very great fighting skills. An example is the Espada members who are on the same level as the captain of the Gotei 13.
5. Visored
Visored can be regarded as the opposite of Arrancar because they are a group of Shinigami who have Hollow powers. They are victims of an experiment that Aizen has carried out in the past.
Apart from that, Visored has superior strength compared to Shinigami in general. They are able to combine the power of Hollows with their Zanpakuto in battle.
6. Fullbringer
Fullbringers are a group of humans who have a unique ability called Fullbring. This ability allows them to manipulate souls contained in physical objects.
Unlike Quincy and Shinigami, Fullbringer's powers are still related to Hollows. They have parents who managed to survive the Hollow attack. When they are born, the remnants of the Hollow's power are passed on to them.
7. Bount
Bounts are artificial beings created by accident in an experiment conducted by Soul Soceity centuries ago. Unlike previous creatures, the Bount figure only appears in anime stories.
Bounts can live eternally by consuming the souls of living humans or dead souls. Similar to Shinigami, Bounts are able to summon Doll that they can use in battle.
8. Human
Humans belong to dominant race or creature in the Bleach story. They are often the target of Hollow attacks. Because of this, they are often protected by Shinigami from Hollow threats.
Even though humans have inferior powers, there are some humans who have high spiritual energy and are known as High-Spec. They are able to see and interact with objects made of Reishi.
9. Zanpakuto Spirit
As the name implies, this creature is a spirit in the Zanpakuto belonging to a Shinigami. They can be considered as part of the soul of a Shinigami. In certain situations, a Shinigami can communicate with the spirit.
Although these spirits are reflections of the Shinigami's soul, they have different forms. An example is the spirit of Zabimaru in the form of a baboon with a snake tail. In addition, we can see the spirit of Hyorinmaru in the form of an ice dragon.
10. Togabito
In closing, there is a spiritual being named Togabito who is known as the inhabitant of hell. Due to the crimes they committed in the world, they were unable to reach Soul Society and ended up in hell.
The Togabito are connected by a special chain that cannot be destroyed. In addition, they are closely guarded by the guardians of hell called Kushanada. In terms of strength, some Togabito seem to have great strength to surpass an Espada.
