The story of Power Rangers Operation Overdrive basically takes the theme of adventure and expeditions to find antiques scattered around the world. Interestingly, the Zords that appear in stories are mostly inspired by heavy vehicles.
On this occasion, we would like to discuss more about all Operation Overdrive's Zords along with their strength. Come on, let's just discuss the following!
1. Dump Driver
Dump Driver is the Red Ranger's first Zord to be inspired by a dump truck. It has several tools that are useful for transporting objects. Besides that, it is one of the strongest Zords.
Besides being strong, Dump Driver is able to shoot lasers to attack enemies. The Zord will form the head, torso, and legs of the DriveMax Megazord.
2. Speed Driver
The second Zord that appears in the story is the Black Ranger's Speed Driver. As the name implies, it is very superior in terms of speed. In addition, the shape of the Zord is inspired by Formula 1 racing cars.
Like Dump Driver, Speed Driver is equipped with a laser weapon and additional features in the form of a missile shooter. In the DriveMax Megazord formation, it will form the Megazord's chest.
3. Gyro Driver
Next, there is the Gyro Driver who is the the Blue Ranger's main Zord. Different from the previous Zords, Gyro Driver takes the form of an airplane which is very useful in aerial combat.
In addition, Gyro Driver is equipped with a laser shot and functions as both the helmet and the back of the DriveMax Megazord.
4. Dozer Driver
Dozer Driver is a Yellow Ranger's Zord that takes the form of a bulldozer. The Zord is fairly tough compared to other Zords. Like the previous Zord, the Zord is equipped with a laser gun.
In addition, Dozer Driver can attack enemies directly using the front of the bulldozer. The Dozer Driver will form the right-hand of the DriveMax Megazord.
5. Sub Driver
Ranger Pink's Zord is very unique and different from the others. As the name implies, Sub Driver is similar to a submarine and is very useful for underwater search expeditions.
The Zord can also shoot lasers like the previous Zord. In addition, it will form the left hand of the DriveMax Megazord.
6. Drill Driver
Drill Driver is the sixth Zord introduced in the story. The Zord was originally designed for Mack aka the Red Ranger. In addition, thie Zord is quite difficult to control.
After Mack got his hands on the Sonic Streaker, Drill Driver was taken over by Ronnie aka the Yellow Ranger. As the name implies, Drill Driver is equipped with a very powerful drill gun. In addition, Drill Driver can be combined to form the Megazord's right hand.
7. Shovel Driver
After the Drill Driver, another interesting Zord appears in the story, namely the Shovel Driver. This Zord is similar to an excavator and controlled by Rose Ortiz the Pink Ranger.
The Zord can attack monsters directly using an excavator. Additionally, the Zord will form the left arm of the Megazord.
8. Cement Driver
As the name implies, Cement Driver is a Zord that takes the form of a cement mixing vehicle. The Zord is controlled by Dax Lo the Blue Ranger.
Uniquely, Cement Driver can spray fast-drying liquid cement at the enemy. In addition, it is useful for forming one of the Megazord's legs.
9. Crane Driver
Next, there is the Crane Driver who becomes the second Zord of Will the Black Ranger. The Zord is inspired by a crane truck and can attack enemies directly through the crane's hook.
After the enemy is hit, Crane Driver can swing the enemy around quickly. Like the Cement Driver, this Zord serves as one of the Megazord's legs.
10. Sonic Streaker
Sonic Steraker is a Zord that takes the form of a fighter jet. In terms of strength, this Zord is very tough and specially designed to be controlled by Mack.
Apart from that, this Zord is equipped with missiles, blasters, and explosive bombs. In the DriveMax Ultrazord formation, this Zord is useful for forming the jet pack, upper body, as well as the helmet of the Megazord.
11. Fire Truck Zord
Unlike the previous Zords, the Fire Truck Zord is a Zord specially designed for Tyzonn aka Ranger Mercury. These Zord can be combined by Tyzonn to form the body and head of the Flash Point Megazord.
12. Rescue Runner 1
Rescue Runner 1 is the second Zord that Andrew Hartford designed for Tyzonn. Uniquely, the Zord is controlled remotely by Tyzonn while he is in the cockpit of the Fire Truck Zord. Additionally, the Zord serves as the left hand of the Flash Point Megazord.
13. Rescue Runner 2
Apart from the Rescue Runner 1 and the Fire Truck Zord, Tyzonn still has one more Zord, namely Rescue Runner 2. The Zord is also controlled remotely and functions as the right hand of the Flash Point Megazord.
14. Battle Fleet Zord 14
The BattleFleet Battleship is the final Zord designed by Mr. Hartford for the Rangers. Interestingly, this Zord is divided into five main Zords which are controlled by each Ranger in battle.
The first is the BattleFleet Zord 14. The airship-like Zord is controlled by Mack and serves to form the head of the Battlefleet Megazord.
15. Battle Fleet Zord 15
Next, there is BattleFleet Zord 15 controlled by Will. Unlike the previous Zord, this Zord is more like a tank with strong battle armor. Apart from that, this Zord serves to form the body and legs of the BattleFleet Megazord.
16. Battle Fleet Zord 16
BattleFleet Zord 16 controlled by Dax Lo takes the form of a jet plane. This Zord is very superior in terms of maneuverability in the air and is equipped with several laser weapons. In addition, it is useful for forming the shoulders of the BattleFleet Megazord.
17. Battle Fleet Zord 17
BattleFleet Zord 16 is a Zord intended for Ronny. This Zord has an advantage in terms of offensiveness because this Zord is equipped with several laser cannons and rocket-firing weapons. In addition, this Zord serves to form the chest of the BattleFleet Megazord.
18. Battle Fleet Zord 18
In terms of design, BattleFleet Zord 17 is similar to a steamroller vehicle. This Zord is controlled by Rose Ortiz. According to its shape, it can flatten the ground. In addition, it serves to form the hands of the BattleFleet Megazord.
