10. Tsugumegeri vs Crocodile
Even though it only lasted a short time, the battle between Tsugugegeri's bodyguard and Crocodile was very interesting. In order to defeat Crocodile, they are willing to sacrifice their lives by drinking Hero's Water.
After drinking the water, Tsugugegeri's bodyguards gain many times more physical strength. Unfortunately, their strength is nothing in front of Crocodile until they die in a quite tragic way.
9. Ace vs Smoker
Seeing Luffy being chased by Smoker, Ace certainly didn't stay silent. He immediately confronted Smoker until they got into a short fight. They competed against each other with their Logia devil fruit powers.
In that fight, Ace has an advantage over Smoker. He is able to devour smoke created by Smoker with the power of the Mera Mera no Mi. If the fight were to continue, Smoker would likely be beaten by Ace.
8. Luffy vs Crocodile (Round 2)
Luffy's second fight against Crocodile took place quite fiercely above the Alubarna palace. Unlike the first fight, Luffy already knows Crocodile's weaknesses so he can make more mature preparations.
Even so, Crocodile is still far superior to Luffy. He still has the secret technique of the Suna Suna no Mi. Crocodile is able to absorb fluids on Luffy's body until he dries up like a mummy.
7. Ace vs Billion
The fight between Ace and Billion is one proof of how strong Mera Mera no Mi is. In just one attack, Ace was able to burn Billion's troop ship to pieces.
Even though this battle isn't the main battle in Alabasta, it is one of Ace's best moments throughout the story of One Piece. In that fight, he looked so cool and stunning.
6. Nami vs. Miss Doublefinger
When dealing with Miss Doublefinger, Nami displays various hilarious and entertaining scenes. To be honest, she was no match for Miss Doublefinger who was too strong for her to face.
Despite this, Nami is able to change the situation of the battle thanks to her extensive knowledge of weather science. She was able to combine that with the Clima Tact to create a powerful attack capable of defeating Miss Doublefinger.
5. Usopp & Chopper vs Miss Merry Christmas & Mr. 4
In the battle for Alabasta, Usopp and Chopper must work together to defeat Miss Merry Christmas and Mr. 4. Their fight was very fierce and thrilling to watch.
However, Usopp and Chopper managed to find a loophole that led them to victory. Even though they won the battle, they were seriously injured.
4. Luffy vs Crocodile (Round 1)
When talking about strength, at first Luffy was no match for Crocodile, who at that time held the Sichibukai status. This was proven when Luffy first fought against Crocodile.
In that fight, Luffy's attacks had no effect on Crocodile at all. On the other hand, Crocodile has a deadly attack that defeats Luffy so badly that he almost dies in the desert.
3. Sanji vs Mr. 2
Sanji and Mr. The 2 use a very similar fighting style. They both fight by relying on their feet. In addition, they have the same level of strength so they fight very fiercely.
Not only that, their fight also presents various funny moments that are interesting to watch. For example, Mr. 2 had changed his face to be similar to Nami to make Sanji off guard.
2. Zoro vs. Daz Bones
The battle between Zoro and Daz Bones is one of the most tense battles in the One Piece story. Their fight became a springboard for Zoro to grow stronger.
Thanks to the Supa Supa no Mi, Daz Bones has a body as sharp as a sword. Zoro was initially unable to injure Daz Bones' body. However, he was able to defeat Daz Bones after he remembered his teacher's words about the essence of a sword.
1. Luffy vs Crocodile (Final Round)
The final battle between Luffy and Crocodile is a very exciting and tense climax. In that fight, Luffy mustered all his determination and strength to defeat Crocodile.
Armed with fists covered in blood, Luffy attacks Crocodile repeatedly. Besides that, he vented all his anger and hatred towards Crocodile who had made Vivi and the people of Alabasta suffer.
