All Moon Breathing Techniques in Kimetsu no Yaiba

Kokushibo is the strongest upper moon demon ever created by Muzan. Before turning into a demon, he was known as a demon hunter named Michikatsu Tsugikuni. He is the biological older brother of Yoriichi Tsugikuni.

Since Michikatsu was unable to master Sun Breathing, he developed a new style known as Moon Breathing. He is able to issue various sword attacks that are similar to a crescent moon.

In the final battle against the demon hunters, Kokushibo demonstrates various powerful and deadly Moon Breath attack techniques. For more detailed information, check the discussion below!

1. Ichi no kata: Yamidzuki – Yoi no Miya

When using this technique, Kokushibo will quickly draw his sword and issue a crescent-shaped horizontal slash. In addition, the slash creates a number of small crescent blades that attack enemies around it.

2. Ni no kata: Shuka no Rōgetsu

Unlike the previous technique, Shuka no Rōgetsu functions more as a defense technique. Kokushibo will issue several crescent moon slashes that can protect him from enemy attacks.

3. San no kata: Enkidzuki – Tsugari

San no kata: Enkidzuki – Tsugari is a destructive slash. Kokushibo will swing his sword until two giant crescent moon slashes are created. The slash was capable of producing a crescent storm that could devastate the area around it.

4. Go no kata: Geppaku Saika

Furthermore, there is a technique called Go no kata: Geppaku Saika which is no less deadly. This technique allows Kokushibo to create multiple curved slashes that overlap one another. The slash looked like a crescent-shaped blade vortex.

5. Roku no kata: Tokoyo Kogetsu – Muken

When using this technique, Kokushibo will issue a series of forward slashes very aggressively and blindly. This technique is capable of producing ranged attacks and can make Hashira class Sanemi Shinazugawa difficult.

6. Shichi no kata: Yakkyō – Dzukibae

Yakkyō – Dzukibae was expelled by Kokushibo after he made his sword bigger and more terrifying. He would swing the sword horizontally. Uniquely, this slash is capable of producing several deadly slashes in various directions.

7. Hachi no kata: Getsuryu Rinbi

As in the previous case, Kokushibo uses this technique with his giant sword. He would create a giant crescent-shaped single slash. The slash is divided into very many small slashes and is difficult to avoid.

8. Ku no kata: Kudaridzuki Renmen

When using this technique, Kokushibo will swing his giant sword blindly. The slash was able to create a crescent-shaped blade vortex that was both powerful and ferocious.

9. Jū no kata: Senmenzan – Ragetsu

This technique allows Kokushibo to create a storm vortex with his giant sword. The sword vortex was composed of three layers of crescent slashes. In addition, the blade vortex was capable of striking enemies from a great distance.

10. Jūshi no kata: Kyōhen – Tenman Sengetsu

Kyōhen – Tenman Sengetsu is a much crazier and deadlier Kokushibo technique. By swinging his gigantic sword, he is able to create blade vortices that are extremely deadly and destroy anything within his reach.

11. Jū Roku no kata: Gekkō – Katawaredzuki

The last technique owned by Kokushibo is Gekkō – Katawaredzuki. With his gigantic sword, he would issue a series of vertically moving crescent slashes. The attack is very aggressive and capable of causing cracks in the ground.
