1. Yami Sukehiro
Yami Sukehiro could be said to be a mentor who had a big influence on Asta. He never trained Asta directly. However, he can be a role model who inspires Asta to get stronger.
Asta often observes Yami's fighting style and learns important lessons, an example of which is the use of Ki in battle. Apart from that, Yami always tells Asta to exceed his limits every time.
2. Fanzell Kruger
Fanzell Kruger is a former commander of Diamond Kingdom's army. He has a kind nature and cares about his friends. However, he hated the magic system in the Diamond Kingdom so much that he decided to run away.
While running away, Fanzel then meets Asta. Even though it is not shown clearly, Fanzel is said to have been a mentor to Asta. He has skills in swords so he can teach Asta well.
3. Mereoleona Vermillion
When it comes to strength, Mereoleona Vermillion is very scary. She is very obsessed with training and honing her strength continuously. The training method is also very tough.
Mereoleona chose volcanic terrain as her training ground. She even often invited members of the Crimson Lion and Black Bull to train there. Indirectly, she plays a role as Asta's mentor.
4. Gadjah
In order to prepare for the battle against the Dark Triad, Asta and his friends decide to train in the Heart Kingdom. They learn the use of natural magic under the guidance of the five Spirit Guardian mages.
One of those who contributed the most was Gadjah. The training process was not explained in detail because the moment takes place during the time-skip period. However, Gadjah seems to have trained Asta directly through battles for months.
5. Nacht Faust
Nacht Faust is the deputy commander of Black Bull and a mentor who plays an important role for Asta. He contracted with four demons at once. He also taught Asta to make contracts and control the devil's power within Asta.
Nacht also trains Asta directly through battle duels. After training together with Nacht, Asta became much stronger than his previous condition. He can even unite his powers with Liebe and access the Unite Mode transformation.
6. Ryuzen Seven
In the battle against Lucius, Asta was thought to have died and his whereabouts were unknown. However, he was teleported to a very far away country, namely Hino Country, aka Yami's hometown.
This country has a scroll-based magic system known as yojutsu. There are seven powerful wizards called the Ryuzen Seven. Apart from being experts in using magic, they have an interesting technique called Zetten.
Zetten is an advanced version of Ki. This technique can increase the user's attacks so that they become more damaging. Asta also tries to learn this technique under the guidance of Ryuzen Seven.
