Shadow Beasts are a group of Nen users who are very well-known in the mafia world. They work under the command of a figure known as the Ten Dons. They were briefly highlighted in the Yorknew City storyline.
The Shadow Beasts essentially have ten members with animal-based codenames. However, only five of them have their powers clearly demonstrated in the HxH story.

1. Leech
Leech is the most dangerous member of the Shadow Beasts. He has a large, fat body. Furthermore, he has a rather sadistic personality, as he enjoys torturing his opponents.
Leech is a manipulator with quite deadly abilities. He can control the leeches on his body to finish off opponents. Even more terrifying is that these leeches can eat away at the flesh of their targets.
2. Owl
Owl is a member of the Shadow Beasts who is seen wearing glasses. He has a serious demeanor and is always alert to his surroundings. Furthermore, Owl has mastered the Conjurer-type Nen skill.
Owl has an ability called Fun Fun Cloth, which looks interesting. With this ability, Owl can shrink objects or living creatures using a special cloth he creates. He can also restore them to their original size.
3. Porcupine
Next, there's a member of the Shadow Beasts named Porcupine. Compared to his friends, he appears quite normal. However, he is a Transmuter who is highly skilled in using Nen.
Porcupine has the ability to control all the hair on his body. This hair serves as a defensive technique that can withstand enemy attacks. Furthermore, Porcupine can also attack opponents with the hair he controls.
4. Rabid Dog
The next member of the Shadow Beasts is Rabid Dog, who resembles a wild dog. He has a tall, thin body with a spiky hairstyle. Similar to Leech, he exhibits a sadistic nature and enjoys torturing his enemies.
Rabid Dog has a poisonous bite that can immobilize enemies. He is also an Enhancer-type Nen user. He can manipulate his aura to enhance his physical strength and bite.
5. Worm
Worm is a member of the Shadow Beast group with a rather intimidating appearance. He is a Transmuter-type Nen user, and his Nen ability allows him to move underground with ease.
This ability is very useful in combat, as he can move silently without being noticed by his enemies. Coupled with his strong physical abilities, Worm has proven capable of temporarily restraining Uvogin's power.
