In Hunter x Hunter, there are several characters who have unique Nen's power and abilities that make them can use other's Nen abilities.

Each of them has their own way of gaining this power, whether by stealing, borrowing, or replicating the Nen ability.

For more information, you can check out the full discussion in the following article!

1. Chrollo Lucilfer

Chrollo Lucilfer is the leader of the Genei Ryodan. He is renowned for his ability to steal other people's Nen abilities. Chrollo is a Tokushitsu (Specialist) type Nen user with a unique ability called Skill Hunter or Bandit Secret.

For his power to work, Chrollo must meet four specific requirements. First, Chrollo must see an opponent using their Nen ability. Second, Chrollo must ask a question related to the Nen ability, and the opponent must answer.

Third, the opponent must touch Chrollo's book. Finally, all these requirements must be met within one hour.

2. Kurapika

Next is Kurapika. He is a Gugenka-type Nen user who can create various types of chains with special abilities. He can also transform into a Specialist-type when he activates the Kurta clan's red eye power.

One type of Nen chain Kurapika possesses is Steal Chain. As the name suggests, this chain allows Kurapika to steal other people's Nen abilities. Furthermore, the chain can drain the target's aura and force them into a Zetsu-like state.

After stealing this Nen ability, Kurapika must activate Emperor Time and Stealth Dolphin, which resembles a dolphin, so he can analyze information about the Nen ability he stole, including its name, mechanism, and conditions.

Interestingly, Kurapika can use the stolen Nen power for himself or lend it to others. However, this ability still carries risks, as Kurapika must continue activating Emperor Time until he deactivates Stealth Dolphin.

3. Leol

Leol is a Chimera Ant whose fighting prowess is noteworthy. He possesses a Tokushitsu-type Nen with a unique ability called the Rental Pod. This ability allows Leol to temporarily borrow the Nen power of others.

The way this power works is quite complex. Leol must meet two conditions for it to activate. First, Leol must know the name of the Nen ability or witness its owner use it.

The second condition is that Leol must act kindly toward the Nen ability's owner, making them feel indebted to him. Once these two conditions are met, information about the Nen ability will be stored in Leol's Rental Pod.

To use the borrowed Nen ability, Leol must print and tear a receipt, granting him the right to use it for one hour. During this time, the original Nen ability's owner cannot access his own.

4. Ikalgo

Although both Chimera Ants, Ikalgo has a different personality from Leol. Ikalgo was once an enemy, but he later helped Netero and his team defeat King Meruem.

Ikalgo is a Kyoka-type Nen user. One of his Nen abilities is Living Dead Dolls. He can take over a person's corpse and manipulate their actions, even using their voice and Nen abilities.

Ikalgo once took over the body of a Chimera Ant named Flutter and used her Nen abilities.

5. Meruem

Next is the Chimera Ant King, whose powers are extremely overpowered. Meruem has advantages in various aspects of combat. He is described as a Hoshutsu-type Nen user.

One of Meruem's main abilities is his ability to consume Nen users and synthesize their aura, thus gaining increased power. He can also use the abilities of the Nen users he consumes, such as Menthuthuyoupi's Metamorphosis power.

Furthermore, he can also use the power of Shaiapouf and combine his En to create microscopic, photon-like particles that can detect information in the surrounding area, such as an object's size, quality, emotions, and the like.

6. Omokage

Next, there's Omokage, the main antagonist in Hunter x Hunter: Phantom Rogue. He's a member of the non-canon Genei Ryodan and possesses a specialist Nen power called Soul Dolls.

Omokage can create a doll of someone the target thinks strongly about. Interestingly, Omokage's dolls not only mimic a person's appearance but also their memories and powers.

Omokage once created dolls resembling Phantom Troupe members like Uvogin, Phinxs, and Nobunaga and used their abilities. However, the dolls' power is incomparable to the power of the real Phantom Troupe members.

7. Ging Freecs

Ging Freecs is a Hunter with a genius and talent in using Nen. He can even imitate or replicate the Nen abilities of others. An example is Leorio's Remote Punch technique.

Ging admitted that he could copy this Nen ability after being hit by it. According to Ging's confession to Pariston, this copying ability wasn't his own Nen ability, but rather an innate talent.

Interestingly, Ging was able to utilize this copying ability to its full potential. In fact, the effect of his Remote Punch attack was far more powerful than Leorio's.

However, we don't yet know the extent to which Ging can copy another person's Nen abilities. It seems there are some Nen abilities that cannot be copied, such as the unique abilities of Tokushitsu-type Nen users.

8. Benjamin Hui Guo Rou

The next character who can use other people's Nen abilities is the first prince of the Kakin Empire, Benjamin Hui Guo Rou. He is one of the strongest candidates for the throne of the Kakin Empire.

Benjamin's Nen type is still unknown. However, he is shown to possess a Nen ability called Benjamin Baton. This ability allows Benjamin to receive the Nen abilities of his subordinates who have sworn loyalty to him. However, this ability only activates when the subordinate dies.

When this ability is activated, Benjamin appears to have stars on his fingers. The limits of Benjamin's ability are still unknown, whether he can control the Nen abilities of all his subordinates or is limited to the number of stars on his hands.

9. Shikaku

Finally, there is Benjamin's loyal subordinate, Shikaku. He is a Sosa-type Nen user, also known as a Manipulator. He possesses an interesting Nen ability called Culdcept.

Shikaku can create rectangular constructions with his hands that can be used to capture the Nen abilities of others. According to Shikaku, captured Nen abilities are transformed into cards.

However, Shikaku's Nen abilities are unfortunately not explored in detail because he died prematurely from an arrow shot from Prince Halkenburg. Despite this, Shikaku appears to be able to use the Nen abilities of others he captures.
