Ekubo is one of the most interesting characters in Mob Psycho 100. He was initially considered a high-level spirit whose power was to be reckoned with. However, he lost his powers after being defeated by Mob.

One of Ekubo's main abilities is his ability to possess others. When he takes over someone's body, the person's face appears to have two red marks on their cheeks, which are Ekubo's trademark.
While possessing someone, Ekubo can maximize the potential of that person's powers. He is also highly skilled in martial arts. However, he can be forcibly removed from the person's body if he is hit by a particularly powerful attack.
Hypnosis
When Ekubo's powers are at their peak, he has the ability to hypnotize others. He can influence the minds of many people simultaneously.
Ekubo often uses his hypnosis abilities to gain a large following. Early in the story, he even founded a cult called LOL with a large membership.
Telekinesis
While not as proficient as Mob, Ekubo is also capable of using telekinesis for various purposes, such as manipulating objects around him.
Additionally, Ekubo can enhance his physical strength with psychic energy. He can also create a barrier of psychic energy to protect himself from enemy attacks.
Transformation Ability
When Ekubo is in peak condition, he has the ability to transform and change his body shape at will. His body can expand and become filled with muscular muscles.
If a part of his body is injured by an enemy attack, Ekubo can regenerate it without difficulty. He can also alter his anatomy to create sharp weapons, such as claws or swords.
Wraither Beam Shooting
Ekubo's next strongest ability is firing a laser through his mouth. This laser requires a relatively short charge time, but its attack power is extremely destructive.
Ekubo's unique ability is to split his energy laser shots into small, explosive projectiles. However, this is ineffective against powerful opponents like Mob or Keiji Mogami.
Smokescreen
Ekubo can emit black smoke from his body to conceal himself from his opponents' sight. This momentum can be used by Ekubo to launch surprise attacks against his enemies.
God Ekubo
When Ekubo merges with the Divine Tree, he gains a significant boost in power, becoming overpowered. Furthermore, his previously green body turns golden.
In this form, Ekubo is capable of unleashing devastating attacks, leading him to feel confident that he can defeat Mob. Unfortunately, this moment is short-lived, as he eventually reverts to his original state.
