Chousei Kantai Sazer-X is the third and final series of Toho's Chouseishin series. It aired on TV Tokyo from October 1, 2005, to June 24, 2006. Compared to previous series, Sazer-X offers a mix of comedy and a strong science fiction feel.
Sazer-X follows their adventures against a group of enemies called Neo-Descal, who threaten Earth. In 2500 AD, Neo-Descal is said to have taken over Earth. To stop their evil, the strongest warriors from the future are sent to Earth in 2005. If they succeed in defeating Neo-Descal, the future will change.

1. Lio-Sazer
Takuto Ando is a teenager who works part-time and dreams of becoming an F1 racer. His grandfather, Soujiro Ando, told him that there would be a Space Pirate attack when he turned 18. Therefore, Soujiro gave Takuto a Strage Ring that allows him to transform into Lio-Sazer.
As the name suggests, Lio-Sazer features a lion motif with a fire element. This Sazer is equipped with weapons called Lio-Breaker and Lion-1. With these weapons, Lio-Sazer can unleash a variety of powerful fire attack techniques.
2. Eagle-Sazer
Ad is the second-in-command of Sazer-X and a master strategist. He hails from the planet Biode, the future, specifically 2500 AD. Planet Ad is known for its harsh military presence. Therefore, Ad is very tough and hates weakness. He initially hated the people of Earth until his views changed after befriending Takuto.
Ad transforms into Eagle-Sazer using a Strage Device. As the name suggests, this Sazer's theme is an eagle with a wind element. Ad uses a weapon called the Eagle Buster, which can fire terrifying wind attacks.
3. Beetle-Sazer
Like Ad, Kane Lucano hails from 2500 AD. However, their hometowns are different. Kane comes from the planet Rady. He is also very kind and loves his family. Clearly, Kane has a very different personality from Ad. Furthermore, Kane possesses a strong determination when fighting.
Kane transforms into Beetle-Sazer using the Strage Device. The theme of this Sazer is a beetle with the lightning element. In combat, Beetle-Sazer uses an axe called the Beet-Hawk.
4. Shark-Sazer
Commander Shark is the main leader of the Sazer-X team and is very strong and brave. He is undaunted in fighting Neo-Descal, who poses a major threat to Earth. In the past, Shark was stranded on Earth and fought with Soujiro Ando. As a leader, Shark is very decisive in making decisions.
Shark transforms into Sazer using the Strage Device. As the name suggests, Sazer's theme is a shark with a water element. Furthermore, Shark-Sazer wields a unique sword called Shark Bash, which can unleash a wave of water to destroy opponents.
