Kitsuchi is one of powerful shinobi from Iwagakure who received considerable attention during the Fourth Shinobi World War. He was entrusted with commanding a division specializing in close-quarters combat.

1. Doton: Kaido Shōkutsu
Doton: Kaido Shōkutsu is an jutsu that allows the user to launch anything hidden in the ground. The effect of this jutsu is similar to a volcanic eruption.
At least two ninja have been shown to master this jutsu: Kitsuchi and Kurotsuchi. During the Fourth Shinobi World War, this jutsu was used to expel an army of White Zetsu hiding underground.
2. Doton: Renga no Jutsu
Doton: Renga no Jutsu is arguably the basic jutsu mastered by Iwagakure ninja. This jutsu allows the user to create a wall of earth that serves to block an opponent's attack.
The jutsu's use is relatively simple, allowing other shinobi like Shikamaru to master it easily. Furthermore, its power is especially powerful when multiple users use it simultaneously.
3. Doton: Kengan no Jutsu
Doton: Kengan no Jutsu is a jutsu useful in close-range combat. It allows the user to coat their fists with hard stone, making their blows more powerful.
This jutsu is often used by Ōnoki during combat. He can manipulate the weight of the stone at will. Although not as proficient as Ōnoki, Kitsuchi demonstrates impressive skill in using this jutsu.
4. Doton: Chidōkaku
Doton: Chidōkaku is a jutsu that allows the user to raise or lower the surrounding ground. The effect of this jutsu can create large holes or elevations in the ground.
Furthermore, the user of this jutsu can adjust the scope or area of impact according to their wishes. When the timing and momentum are right, this jutsu is very effective in avoiding attacks from opponents.
5. Doton: Daichidōkaku
Doton: Daichidōkaku works almost the same way as the previous jutsu. However, its power is greatly increased and it covers a wider area. Furthermore, this technique is even more effective when used by the entire Iwagakure ninja force simultaneously.
They demonstrated this jutsu during the intense battle against the Ten-Tails. Through this technique, they were able to trap the Ten-Tails and make it immobile for a short period of time.
6. Doton: Sando no Jutsu
Sando no Jutsu is arguably Kitsuchi's strongest jutsu. This jutsu allows the user to form a formation of two giant rocks that can sandwich and crush the target in between them like a sandwich.
This technique was once used by Kitsuchi to temporarily restrain the movement of the Gedō Statue. Had this technique been aimed at a normal enemy, they would have been crushed by the intense pressure of the two rocks.
