Seven Ninja Swordsmen of The Mist is a group of elite ninja from Kirigakure who have expertise in using the sword. Each member of the group wields a very powerful sword with their own abilities.
For that reason, the existence of these sword ninjas is usually able to frighten ninja from other villages. Well, this time we want to review a list of the strongest sword ninja from Kirigakure in Naruto's story.
10. Jinin Akebino
Jinin was very talented sword ninja and he used the Kabutowari sword. The sword is also known as the Helmet Splitter which is very unique because it consists of an axe and a hammer that are connected to each other.
That said, Kabutowari's sword is able to destroy various enemy defenses. Not much information is presented regarding Jinin's past because he only appeared in the form of edo tensei during the Fourth Shinobi World War. However, he was among the seven sword ninjas who have fought Might Duy.
9. Jinpachi Munashi
Just like Jinin, Jinpachi was also one of the seven ninja reincarnated during the fourth ninja world war. Kakashi once stated that Jinpachi was infamous for being cruel and has done heinous acts while he was still alive.
Jinpachi even was so mean to kill his older brother and he also enjoyed the fights between his fellow sword ninjas. He wielded a sword called Shibuki that can emit an explosion. With the support of his great sword skills, Jinpachi was able to inflict very strong damage on the opponent.
8. Ameyuri Ringo
This one ninja also appeared in the form of edo tensei during the Fourth Shinobi World War. Ameyuri was no less violent than other sword ninja. He wielded a mystical dual sword named Kiba.
The blade allowed Ameyuri to fuse the user's lightning chakra with this blade so that it is capable of cutting through anything. Kiba's sword is legendary and considered the sharpest weapon ever. This made Ameyuri difficult to defeat and she was said to be able to defeat a hundred chunin.

7. Kushimaru Kuriare
Kushimaru was a truly sadistic ninja who represents the cruelty of the Kirigakure ninja. While still alive, he had committed countless cruel acts, including killing his own teacher. Kushimaru had a habit of crucifying his opponents and he would laugh when he did so.
Kushimaru wielded Nuibari's longsword which was the size of a giant needle. This sword also has a long thread that allows the user to stab the opponent and sew them. Because of that, this sword fitted very well with Kushimaru's sadistic side.
6. Fuguki Suikazan
Next, there is Fuguki Suikazan who was the former teacher of Kisame Hoshigake. He used to be the wielder of the legendary Samehada sword. The sword has consciousness and is capable of absorbing other ninja's chakra.
Not only that, Samehada's power is also very in sync with water-type jutsu. Fuguki had extraordinary chakra so that his power was able to make Samehada subdued. Because of that, he was still able to survive after fighting Might Duy who used Hachimon Tonkou. Although there is not much information about Fuguki, he was certainly a very powerful shinobi thanks to Samehada.
5. Juzo Biwa
Juzo was basically a talented shinobi. He was considered one of the strongest ninja ever created by Kirigakure. At one point, he had fought for the Mizugake position. In addition, he was a Kubikiribocho sword user before Zabuza.
The sword is very unique because it is capable of being indestructible and able to regenerate by taking the blood of its victims. With this sword, Juzo was able to color the battlefield with blood. He briefly joined Akatsuki, but he was eventually killed by Mizukage Yagura.

4. Zabuza Momochi
This Kirigakure ninja is one of the strongest antagonists who first appeared in the Naruto story. Zabuza was a legendary ninja whose strength can rival Hatake Kakashi. He was commonly known by the nickname Demon of The Hidden Mist because he had a dark and bloody past.
Zabuza was a Kubikiribocho sword user, just like Juzo Biwa. However, Zabuza was recognized as the greatest wielder of the sword and surpassed his predecessor. Furthermore, Zabuza had a variety of jutsu and techniques to kill enemies secretly. His power was even able to make Kakashi use his sharingan technique.
3. Mangetsu Hozuki
Based on Kisame's perspective, Mangetsu Hozuki was a humble and level-headed ninja. Mangetsu's fighting ability was also extraordinary. Just like Zabuza, he had a stealth assassination technique.
However, Mangetsu had an advantage that no other ninja has because he was the only shinobi known to be able to master all seven swords, including the notorious Samehada. Unfortunately, this talented sword ninja died at a young age. He was later resurrected as edo tensei in the Fourth Shinobi World War.
2. Chojuro
Chojuro including the last generation of sword ninja who now serves as Mizukage. Unlike his predecessors, Chojiro is a kind-hearted person and he strongly supports the creation of peace rather than fighting.
He uses the Hiramekarei sword which has a wide size and two handles. Like other swords, Hiramekarei also holds great power. The sword is capable of storing chakra and then releasing that chakra right at the tip of the blade. With Chojuro's prowess, this sword is able to penetrate any defense while increasing his physical strength.
1. Kisame Hoshigaki
Without a doubt, Kisame Hoshigake is the strongest sword ninja from Kirigakure by far. When he was still alive, his strength could only be rivaled by certain ninja. Kisame was a valuable member of Akatsuki who partners with Itachi.
Kisame was endowed with a large amount of chakra which earned him the nickname of a monster. Not only that, Kisame was also very skilled in using Samehada's power. Because of Kisame's close relationship with the sword, Samehada seemed to grieve after Kisame's death. For sure, Kisame had shown his prowess many times throughout the story.
