That Time I Got Reincarnated as A Slime is one of the popular anime about magic that first released in 2019. The anime adapted from this light novel tells the story of a young man who is reincarnated as a slime and thrown into another world filled with fantasy and magic.

10. Benimaru
Benimaru is the leader of the Ogre races. He has a resolute personality as a leader and he bears the responsibility of taking revenge for the deaths of his clan members. Because of that, he was willing to follow Rimuru.
In the end, Benimaru became Rimuru's loyal and wise bodyguard. He also has a terrible power because he is able to burn enemies simultaneously with his black flames. Thanks to his prowess, Benimaru was assigned by Rimuru to lead the Tempest military.
9. Shizue Izawa
Just like Rimuru, Shizue is a person who was summoned to the magical world from the real world in Japan. She was summoned during the World War II in Japan. Later, she became the vessel of a high-level magic spirit named Ifrit.
Shizue is a very talented at swordship. Her prowess has spread to various regions and she was known as the legendary conqueror of fire. Thanks to the power of Ifrit within her, Shizue was able to create fire in battle. After she died, Shizue left her trademark mask to Rimuru.
8. Hinata Ikazuchi
Hinata Sakaguchi is one of Shizue's students who is very talented and strong. She was furious and blamed Rimuru for her teacher's death. For that reason, she challenges Rimuru to a fight in the second season of this anime.
Hinata has extraordinary sword skills. Not only that, she also has a deadly technique called Dead End Rainbow which can kill the target in just seven attacks. In addition, Hinata is able to create a holy barrier as well as having mathematical thoughts.

7. Frey
Although Frey's abilities have not been fully demonstrated in the anime, she is a very strong character considering her title as the Demon King. She is a harpy who has a distinctive pair of wings.
Because of that, Frey had the advantage in aerial combat. In the second season of the story, Frey plays Milim's ally and she pretends to follow Clayman's orders. She did have time to kill Carrion, but it was just a charade to trick the cunning Clayman.
6. Geld the Orc Disaster
Geld could probably be considered the biggest and troublesome enemy for Rimuru in the early days of his adventure. He is the leader of the Orcs who have the power to devour anything to satisfy his hunger.
After evolving into the Demon Lord and Orc Disaster, Geld underwent a very significant change. It became extremely brutal and its power was capable of giving Rimuru a hard time. What is quite dangerous about this figure is its extraordinary regeneration ability. Luckily, Rimuru was able to devour Geld with his predatory abilities.
5. Carrion
Demon King Carrion is the ruler of Eurazania, the Animal Kingdom. In that kingdom, strength and instinct are everything. Therefore, only the strongest people are able to occupy the top ranks as rulers.
Carrion has incredible strength, speed and instinct. He is able to change his form into a legendary chimera creature. He had a fierce fight against Milim and Frey. Even though he didn't win that battle, he proved to be able to match the strength of the two of them. He also promised that he would become a valuable companion to Rimuru.

4. Diablo
Diablo is a mysterious demon who appeared in the first season. He had met Shizue on one occasion and the two of them were involved in a very serious battle. Not only that, he is also very strong.
As proof, Diablo was able to defeat the demon that ruled the Kingdom of Filtwood. Although currently the ins and outs are still mysterious in the anime, Diablo will later become Rimuru's strongest and most loyal bodyguard.
3. Veldorra
In the magic world of That Time I Got Reincarnated as A Slime, there are only four dragons that exist. One of the dangerous ones is Veldora. Veldora's existence is a threat to everyone because he always brought destruction.
Fortunately, a hero came and he then sealed Veldora in a cave. He had been confined alone in that cave for hundreds of years until he met Rimuru. They immediately became close and became good friends. Rimuru swallowed Veldora into his body and he finally gave Veldora a new body in the second season.
2. Milim
In second place, there is the Demon Lord named Milim. Even though she has quite a childish , Milim has such a strong power that it makes Rimuru hesitate enough to beat her.
Fortunately, Rimuru was able to take advantage of Milim's childish. Because of that, Milim became a valuable ally to Rimuru and the Jure Tempest Federation. Milim would help Rimiru in various emergency situations. For example, Milim helped Rimiru to defeat Charybdis who was very difficult to beat.
1. Rimuru Tempest
Perhaps there is no doubt that Rimuru Tempest is the strongest character in this anime. Even though he is just a slime, Rimuru is a very intelligent, creative, and he has extraordinary powers.
Rimuru has very strong unique powers, namely Great Sage and Predator. With those two abilities, Rimuru is able to eat monsters or whatever and take power from the monsters or objects he eats.
Because of that, Rimuru had the potential to evolve continuously until he could become the strongest. Fortunately, RImuru has such a great personality that he uses his overpowered powers for a noble cause.
