One Piece: All Filler Arcs in Anime

One Piece is a Japanese manga and anime that has a very long storyline. In the anime version, there are several filler arcs that are used as a distraction from the main story. Although most of the filler arcs are boring, some One Piece filler stories are also fun and interesting.

In this following article, we would like to discuss more about the list of fillers arcs that appear in the One Piece. Come on, let's talk about it!

1. The Warship Island

The Warship Island is the first arc that appears in the anime. This arc takes the timeline after East Blue Saga and before Luffy and friends enter the Grand Line.

In this arc, the SHP pirates met a girl named Apis who was adrift in the ocean. At that time, she was escaping from a marine ship that was attracted by a dragon who had forgotten his memory. The SHP crew also helps Apis to find the dragon's home and protect it from enemies.

2. Post-Alabasta

The second filler arc in the One Piece is Post-Alabasta which takes place after the SHP crew parted ways with Vivi in Alabasta. The story of this arc is quite interesting because each episode has its own storyline.

The story of each episode focuses on all the current SHP members, except for Luffy and Robin. Interestingly, the story of the episode has a close relationship with the past as well as their dreams for the future.

3. Goat Island

This filler arc is still going on after the Alabasta arc. The story of this arc is quite funny and focuses on an old man who lives on Goat Island and avoids the pursuit of the marine.

In addition, the SHP crew performs silly stunts in this arc by playing a bet against the old man. Because the old man always won, their ship had to be held and they had to serve what the old man asked.

5. G-8

G-8 might be considered the longest filler arc in the anime with a total of 11 episodes. This arc takes place after the Skypiea arc is over. After descending from the sky, the crew of the SHP unfortunately fell into the G-8 naval base.

The base has a very strong defense and is led by a marine who is very good at strategizing. The SHP crew had a hard time finding loopholes so they could escape from G-8. Another thing that is interesting about this arc is the figure of Condoriano who is very funny.

6. Ocean's Dream

The story of this arc takes place after Luffy and his friends left the island of Long Ring Long Land. This arc tells about the memory loss of the SHP crew, except for Robin. Their memories have been stolen by a mysterious seahorse.

Due to the loss of their memories, the SHP crew had clashes and were divided. Luckily there is still Robin who has full memory. They are also trying to restore all the memories that have been stolen.

9. Spa Island

This filler arc tells about the adventures of the SHP pirates on the island of Spa after they left Thriller Bark. There, they meet again with Foxy who always has a devious plan.

10. Little East Blue

Little East Blue is a filler arc as well as an introduction to the film Strong World. The story of this arc is a bit disconnected from the main plot because this arc takes place after Luffy is separated from his friends in Sabaody.

11. Z's Ambition

As the name implies, this arc is the introduction to the 2012 film Z. This arc takes place right after the SHP pirates enter the New World and they face off against one of Z's subordinates.

In addition, the SHP crew meets a girl named Lily who has the ability to manipulate her body. She wants to save his father who is in danger and SHP helps her.

14. Marine Rookie

Marine Rookie is a One Piece filler arc that took place after Luffy and his friends left Zou. On their way to Big Mom's territory, they ran out of food and were starving.

To replenish the food supply on the ship, they stopped first at the naval base. There, they disguised themselves as marine members. However, their disguises were still exposed and they were being chased by the marine.

15. Cidre Guild

The newest filler arc in the One Piece story is the Cidre Guild arc which is the introduction to the Stampede movie. In this arc, Luffy has to deal with a group of bounty hunters called the Cidre Guild.
