The Four Archangels are the strongest warriors of the Goddess clan formed by Supreme Deity. The four of them were given a great power by Supreme Deity which is called Grace. That said, the strength of one Archangel was equal to that of two members of the Ten Commandments so they were greatly feared by the Demon clan.
After exhausting their strength to seal the Ten Commandments and the Demon clan, they lost their physical bodies and resided in an object such as a sword or other instrument. After 3000 years have passed, they resurrect in spirit form and take possession of a person's body as a vessel so that they can maximize their power and fight at will.

1. Ludociel

Ludociel is known as the leader of the Four Archangels from the Goddess clan. He was an extremely strong character and was fearless against the Ten Commandment members of the Demon clan during the Holy War 3000 years ago. After losing his physical form, Ludociel had time to use Margaret as a vessel to fight in a New Holy War.
As the leader of the Four Archangels, Ludociel's strength was naturally terrifying. He was able to use Ark magic which was typical of the Goddess clan. In addition, he has a Grace known as Flash that allows Ludociel to move very quickly and is similar to a teleportation technique.
2. Mael
Mael is considered the strongest member of the Four Archangels. He is known as an ruthless Angel in exterminating the members of Demon clan. During the Holy War 3000 years ago, he was hit by Gowther's forbidden magic which manipulated the memories of all people.
He then bore a new identity as Estarossa of the Demon clan as well as the second child of the Demon King. Gowther did that to Mael to stop the relentless war. After Meliodas betrayed, the power of the two sides became unbalanced. To restore the balance, Gowther transforms Mael into Estarossa and the war soon ends.
Mael's memory finally recovered and he could not accept the fact. However, he managed to restore his consciousness which had been chaotic and returned to the right path after being awakened by Gowther from Nanatsu no Taizai.
In terms of strength, Mael is very strong. He is the original owner of Shunsine. After he turned into Estarossa and a very long time passed, his Grace chose Escanor as its new owner so that Escanor was able to use the Mael technique. Even so, Mael can maximize the potential of Shunsine than Escanor. He could even defeat Original Demons with ease.

3. Tarmiel
Unlike the other member of the Archangels, Tarmiel has a pretty scary appearance because he has three heads. He looks very muscular and has an attitude that is very confident in his strength. However, he can turn mushy when he is confronted by his own comrades, such as when fighting against Mael.
Tarmiel has the Grace known as Ocean. With that power, he could create an ocean that could trap his enemies. Based on his words, the ocean is the domain of God so the effect of the attack is very terrible. He can also turn his body into a liquid to escape from enemies.
4. Sariel
The last member of the Four Archangels was Sariel who had a child-like appearance. Despite his appearance, he is a very strong character and is fearless against the Demon clansmen.
Sariel has a Grace called Tornado which allows him to create very strong tornadoes. He can use the tornado to defend and attack his opponent. The tornado was very strong and capable of crushing his opponent to pieces.
