Cell is one of the legendary enemies that Goku has ever faced in Dragon Ball. He is known as the strongest android made by Dr. Gero designed by using a combination of cells from various strongest fighters around the world, such as Goku, Vegeta, Piccolo, to Frieza.

1. Larva
As the name implies, this form is Cell's evolutionary stage. This Larva Cell was in an incubator in Dr. Gero's secret laboratory.
Although Cell in this form looks cute, Cell is still a dangerous monster who will wreak havoc on mankind in the future. Because of that, the existence of Cell must be exterminated from the face of the earth.
2. Imperfect Cell

Imperfect Cell is the first form of Cell before he absorbs Android 17 and 18. Although this form is still not perfect, Cell is proven to be able to provide terror that is quite frightening to the enemy.
When we first saw Imperfect Cell, Kami even felt a tremendous threat. Because of that, Kami decided to fuse with Piccolo to match the power of Imperfect Cell. Not only that, Imperfect Cell also absorbs many people to increase his strength.
3. Semi-Perfect Cell

After absorbing Android 17, Cell is able to evolve into his semi-perfect form which is much more powerful than before. In this form, Cell's muscles grow stronger and his face looks more human-like.
When in this form, Cell is able to surpass the power of Android 16, whereas previously he was overwhelmed by 16. Although the appearance of this form is quite short, this form includes Cell's version that Akira Toriyama likes.

4. Perfect Cell
After the Z fighters fought desperately to stop Cell, this monster was finally able to reach his perfect form after he absorbed Android 18. Appearance-wise, this form isn't much different from his previous form, but Cell's face is very human-like.
However, Perfect Cell's strength exceeds the expectations of the Z fighters. He has such an overpowering power that he challenges anyone to a match in the game he created. The Z fighters are practically impossible to beat Perfect Cell in a 1 vs 1 battle.
5. Super Saiyan
One of the interesting facts about Cell is that he has Saiyan cells in his body. Thanks to these cells, Cell is able to transform into Super Saiyan form, just like Goku and Vegeta.
When activating this form, Cell is enveloped in a golden aura. In addition, this form can be regarded as a power up that increases the strength of Cell. He first showed this form in a fierce match against Goku.
6. Cell Jr.
Cell Jr. is one of Cell's techniques that is both very interesting and troublesome. He is able to create several blue and small clones according to the number of enemies he is facing.
Regardless of Cell Jr.'s size, the strength of Cell Jr. no less scary than Cell. With this technique, Cell is able to force Gohan to use all his strength in battle.
7. Power-Weighted
Power-Weighted is basically Cell's form which gives him the edge in terms of raw power. He had shown this form when fighting Future Trunks to make Future Trunks helpless.
Not only that, Cell was able to increase his strength until his body grew like a Great Namekian. This form he showed when he felt angry when facing Gohan's Super Saiyan 2 power.

8. Self-Destruction Form
In addition to having great physical strength, Cell still has a secret weapon. It has a deadly bomb planted by Dr. Gero in his body. The bomb can be activated by Cell in an emergency situation.
The bomb's destructive power is very powerful and is similar to a weapon of mass destruction. One time this bomb explosion can destroy King Kai's planet. However, Cell managed to survive this bomb because he has super regeneration.

The appearance of Super Perfect Cell is an unexpected thing. When fighter Z feels that they have won, Super Perfect Cell appears from behind the fog and deals a fatal blow to Future Trunks.
After being hit by a horrific bomb blast, Cell is able to survive and regenerate to become stronger. To beat him to dust, Gohan in his Super Saiyan 2 form unleashes his strongest Kamehameha technique.
10. Overloaded Form
The Overloaded Form is an interesting form of Cell shown in the Dragon Ball GT story. When Cell and Frieza fight Goku in Hell, Cell absorbs Goku for some time and accesses all of Goku's powers.
In terms of appearance, this form is not much different from the Perfect Cell form. However, Cell looks more muscular and his body is enveloped by a yellow aura and flashes of lightning that are very similar to Super Saiyan.
