All Demon's Weakness in the Kimetsu no Yaiba, Explained

Demons are terrible monsters created by Kibutsuji Muzan. They are considered a dangerous threat because they like to kill human to satisfy their appetite. In addition, they have super strength and regeneration.

Even though the demons are very strong, they still have some weaknesses that can destroy them. What are they? Check the complete information below!

1. Sunlight

Sunlight is one of the greatest weaknesses that demons fear. Their bodies will burn to pieces when exposed to the sun. For this reason, they always hunt their prey at night.

Even demons as strong as Muzan are terrified of sunlight. However, there are special exceptions to Nezuko and Tanjiro. When they were turned into demons, they were both able to survive under the sunlight.

2. Nichirin Sword

The second weakness that demons fear is the demon slayer's Nichirin Sword. The weapon is not just a sword because the sword is made of a special material that can absorb sunlight.

To destroy the demons, demon slayers must slash the demon's throat with the Nichirin Sword. Even so, the weapon is less effective when dealing with high-level demons. Examples are Muzan, Kokushibo, and Akaza.

3. Wisteria Flower

Wisteria flower is a plant that is very feared by demons. The flower is able to emit a scent that can ward off attacks from demons. In addition, the flower can be used as a deadly poison to kill demons.

For example, we can see the abilities of Shinobu Kocho. She uses Wisteria poison to kill her enemies. In very large doses, the poison is proven to be able to kill a high-rank demon named Doma.

4. Muzan's Curse

Muzan created demons using his blood. Not only that, he added a curse to the demons' bodies. He did this so that the demons would not leak any information about him.

If a demon says anything related to Muzan, the curse will automatically activate and kill the demon. Because of that, the demons would shut up when they were asked about Muzan's location or information.
