In the story of Nanatsu no Taizai, there are many races that appear with their own characteristics. Besides that, each race or clan usually has special abilities that are very unique and special.

Since childhood, they have been trained to become knights. They also used to work as mercenaries hired by certain parties to strengthen military power.
In terms of strength, this race has great and terrible strength. Additionally, they have a deep connection with the earth allowing them to be able to manipulate the land to their heart's content in battle. They also fought the Holy War against the Demon race 3000 years ago.
4. Demon
The Demon Clan is one of the strongest races whose strength is on par with the Goddess race. They are known to be very cruel and sadistic because they like to do chaos. They were the archenemy of the other races in the Holy War that happened 3000 years ago.
Because all the other races unite with the Goddesses, they end up losing the battle until they are sealed in the Coffin of Eternal Darkness. However, they managed to revive after 3000 years and start a New Holy War.
In terms of strength, the Demon race is capable of wielding terrifying dark magic power. They also have a formidable fighter known as the Ten Commandments aka the 10 Commandments who get their power from the Demon King.
5. Goddess
This clan is the sworn enemy of the very powerful Demon race. This clan is led by beings known as Supreme Deities who are on the same line as the Demon King. Moreover, they played an important role in the Holy War 3000 years ago.
After successfully sealing the Demon clan, they lose their physical bodies so they incarnate as spirits that reside in objects or instruments, such as swords and the like. When they rise, they have to use humans as vessels for them.
The Goddess Clan has various very powerful magics. On average, their magic has the power to purify the dark or evil energy possessed by the Demon and Vampire clans. In addition, they have the strongest knights known as the Four Archangels who are able to match the power of the 10 Commandments of God.
6. Druid
Druid are a clan of a group of humans who worship the Goddess clan. They have powers related to light and they live deep in the forests of Britannia. On top of that, they also really hate the Demon clan.
Druid inherit several powers from the Goddess clan, such as healing abilities and the Purge technique which allows them to wipe out evil souls. That technique is very powerful against the Demon clan.
7. Vampire
Vampires are one of the minor races that appear in the story Nanatsu no Taizai. They were in the past loyal followers of the Demon clan to the point where the king and their entire clan committed treason. This made the Demon King angry and wanted to execute them.
The Demon Lord orders Zeldris to carry out the mission. However, he did not execute the vampire clan and chose to seal them away because he could not bear to kill Zelda, his lover.
In terms of strength, the Vampire clan is very strong. They are able to suck human blood and turn them into vampires. In addition, this race is also quite difficult to kill because they have great regeneration abilities.
8. Beastman
Beastmen are a rare race that isn't highlighted in the story. This race is often treated harshly by humans who think of them as monsters. Because of that, they used to hide their whereabouts. Peacocks also used to steal to survive.
Apart from being in the form of a beast, they have the ability to change their appearance to that of a human. That makes it easier for them to blend in. So far, only Zhivago and his son have been introduced as Beastmen in the anime's storyline.
9. Celestial
The last race or clan on this list is the Celestial clan which still has a connection with the Goddess clan living in the Sky Temple. This race was introduced in the film story Prisoners of the Sky. They had in the past avoided war and managed to survive.
Just like the Goddess clan, this clan was capable of using light-based magic, such as Ark and healing magic. As time went on, their wings started to shrink and their magic power slowly disappeared.
