10. Dosu Kinuta
Dosu Kinuta is one of the toughest Otogakure shinobi. He was assigned by Orochimaru to participate in the Chūnin Exams. He has a fighting style that focuses on sound manipulation.
In the preliminary round, Dosu was able to beat Choji so easily that he advanced to the final round. Unfortunately, he was very careless because he challenged Gaara to a fight. That fight got him killed.
9. Shikamaru Nara
Shikamaru Nara is arguably the most genius participant in the Chūnin Exams. He didn't just rely on physical strength in battle. However, he is able to devise clever tactics and combine them with shadow jutsu.
