10 Strongest Tien Shinhan's Techniques in Dragon Ball

Tien Shinhan is known as a fighter who has a high dedication in martial arts. He trained himself very hard and was disciplined. As long as the earth was in times of peace, he even continued to train so that his strength would not decrease.

In the story, Tien shows various kinds of powerful and interesting moves. What are they? Check out the full review in this article!

10. Mashin Gan Tsuki

Mashin Gan Tsuki is a Tien technique similar to a machine gun. He first demonstrated this technique in his battle against Goku in the final round of the 22nd Tenkaichi Budokai tournament.

When issuing this technique, Tien will hit his opponent with a barrage of attacks without any pause. The attack is very difficult to avoid so Goku has difficulty parrying it.

9. Taiyoken

Taiyōken is one of the special moves mastered by Tien. Unlike the previous technique, this technique functions more as a distraction that can disrupt the focus of the opponent's attention in battle.

First of all, Tien will put his fingers around his head. After that, he will emit a light so bright that the enemy cannot see. As a result, the enemy will be caught off guard and vulnerable to attack.

8. Kamehameha

One of the interesting things about Tien is that he can imitate other people's moves just by looking at him. For example, he was able to imitate Kamehameha after he saw it used by Yamcha.

Not only that, Tien was able to maximize Kamehameha's attacks in the fight against Jackie Chun aka Master Roshi. The attack was able to surprise Goku and Krillin.

7. Dodonpa

Dodonpa is a typical technique used by Tao Pai Pai. The technique takes the form of a fully concentrated ki addition and is released through the user's fingertips. The shot is capable of giving fatal wounds to the enemy.

As disciple of Master Shen, Tien also mastered the technique very skillfully. He was even inspired to follow in the footsteps of Tao Pai Pai. Despite that, he changed his mind after hearing Muten Roshi's advice.

6. Ki Blast Cannon

Ki Blast Cannon is a technique developed by Tien through independent practice. Tien first demonstrated this technique when he fought Goku in the semifinals of the 23rd Tenkaichi Budokai.

When using this technique, he will focus energy on both palms and then shoot it with full power. At first glance, the technique is similar to Dodonpa with a larger scale.

5. Shishin no Ken

Shishin no Ken is Tien's mainstay technique which is his trademark. This technique allows Tien to create four clones at once. That way, he could overwhelm his enemies with a barrage of attacks.

At first glance, this technique is indeed very powerful and can intimidate opponents. However, this technique has a major drawback. When Tien uses the technique, all of his energy is divided into four parts.

4. Mafuba

Mafūba is a sealing technique created by Master Mutaito to seal King Piccolo. This technique has a very high risk because the user of the technique drains the energy of the user.

After King Piccolo killed Master Roshi, Tien began to study the Mafūba technique independently. Although he managed to master the technique in time, he failed to seal King Piccolo because the sealing site was damaged.

3. Kikōhō

Kikōhō can be said to be Tien's ultimate move that he uses in critical situations. He learned the technique from Master Shen. Just like Mafūba, this technique is very risky and drains a lot of energy.

When using this technique, Tien will collect energy in both hands. After that, he would release that energy through his two hands. The energy is so powerful that it destroys anything within its reach.

2. Tamashī no Kikōhō

Tamashī no Kikōhō is a more powerful variation than the regular Kikōhō. Tien first demonstrated this move when he fought against Nappa. In that fight, he had felt utter despair.

With the remaining energy he had, Tien released the technique through his right hand. Even though he had tried his best, the technique was only able to destroy Nappa's armor.

1. Shin Kikōhō

Shin Kikōhō might very well be called the strongest technique mastered by Tien. He first showed this move to paralyze Cell's movements who wanted to hunt down Android 18.

When using this move, Tien will bring the ends of his hands together to form a triangular formation. After that, he will fire many Kikōhō shots until he runs out of energy.
