4. Si Lang
Si Lang is a 12-year-old boy who becomes Mao and Mei Li's adventure companion. He left his village to pursue his dream of becoming a Super Chef. During the two years of travel, he has not been able to realize that dream at all.
Si Lang also claimed to be a Super Chef when he returned to his village. However, the charade was eventually uncovered. After he realized that Mao was a Super Chef, he decided to become Mao's apprentice.
