Bell Cranel is the main MC in DanMachi. He is known as a tough adventurer from Hestia Familia who is nicknamed Little Rookie. He often goes on expeditions or dungeon explorations to hunt monsters.
In hunting, Bell of course uses weapons and some supporting equipments that can protect him from danger. In the following article, MogiMogy has summarized all weapons and equipment used by Bell in the DanMachi story.
1. Dagger
When he first became an adventurer, Bell armed himself with a dagger or an ordinary knife. He is quite skilled in using the knife. Nevertheless, the knife has many limitations.
For example, Bell was incapable of slicing through a vicious, thick-skinned monster. The knife was shattered when Bell fought fiercely against the Silverback monster in the anime story.
2. Hestia's Knife
Unlike the previous weapons, Hestia's Knife was a special, high-quality knife forged by Hephaestus and strengthened by Hestia's blessing. The knife has hieroglyphs that look unique.
The knife can live and become stronger along with the user's status. Uniquely, this knife can only be used by members of Hestia Familia. The blade is created from Mithril and id able to conduct magic.
Bell often uses the knife as his main weapon in battle. The knife is very strong and did not break even though Bell fought fierce monsters many times.
3. Schwizerdeane
The Schwizerdeane was basically a baselard-type weapon that Lili lent Bell when they roamed the dungeon. Lili deliberately gave the weapon away because she wanted to steal the Hestia Knife from Bell's hands.
The weapon is fairly sharp and can be used to kill large monsters on the tenth floor. Bell was also very good at using that weapon. Unfortunately, the weapon was destroyed when Bell fought the Minotaur.
4. Ushiwakamaru
Bell's next weapon is a red knife named Ushiwakamaru. The blade was forged directly by Welf Crozzo using the horn of the Minotaur that Bell had defeated.
Bell used to use Ushiwakamaru together with Hestia's Knife in battle. Despite the high quality of the knife, it was destroyed when Bell engaged in a fierce fight against Asterius.
5. Hakugen
When Bell and his team were about to go on an expedition to the dungeons below, Welf made a new knife called Hakugen. The knife is quite long and made of unicorn horn.
Not only sharp, the knife also has a special ability to repel poison. Normally, the price of the knife could reach 10,000,000 Valis. However, Bell received it for free from Welf.
6. Armor
Apart from using weapons, Bell also uses armor to protect his body and minimize damage in battle. He really liked Welf's armor because it was light and comfortable to wear.
The first armor purchased by Bell was the Pyonkichi Mk-II. However, Bell also often changed armor every time his armor was destroyed in battle.
7. Green Supporter
The last equipment used by Bell is a hand protector called the Green Supporter. Bell received the item as a gift given by Eina. The price of the object is 7,700 valis.
As the name implies, Green Supporter functions as a support and can be used as a shield. It can also be used as a place to store daggers or short swords. Unfortunately, it was destroyed when Bell was fighting the Minotaur.
