All Generations in Fire Force, Explained

Fire Force presents interesting characters who have the power to control fire. Moreover, they are divided into four generations according to their respective strength characteristics.

For more information, check out the full review below!

1. First Generation (Infernal)

First Generation are all victims to Human Spontaneous Combustion and turned into monsters called Infernals. After turning into an Infernal, they would lose their sense of self.

In addition, the Infernals also experienced intense pain due to the flames enveloping their bodies. The only way to save them from suffering is to be killed.

2. Second Generation

Unlike the First Generation, the Second Generation are pyrokinetic users who have adapted to Spontaneous Human Combustion. They don't turn into Infernals. Instead, they have the ability to control fire.

The Second Generation has a high level of resistance to fire so they can fight against Infernals freely. Although they cannot produce fire, they can manipulate fire from external sources that are around them.

3. Third Generation

As was the case before, the Third Generation are pyrokinetic users who had adapted to Spontaneous Human Combustion and had not turned into an Infernal. They also have the power to produce fire from their bodies.

The Third Generation usually develops a unique fighting style through the fire they create. An example is Leonard Burns who has the Voltage Nova technique. The Third Generation also has high physical resistance to fire.

4. Fourth Generation

According to Haumea, the Fourth Generation are pyrokinetic users who have awakened Adolla Burst and are connected to other worlds through the Adolla Link. Most of them are also known as Pillars.

One of the advantages of the Fourth Generation is that they are able to receive Adolla Grave aka Blessing from a figure called Evangelist. This blessing can increase their fire power very significantly.
