Even though he hasn't received much attention, Urouge is one of the most interesting members of Supernova. He is known by the nickname "Mad Monk". When he first appeared, he had a pretty impressive bounty, namely 108,000,000 Belly.
In terms of combat abilities, Urouge is a tough character. We can see this in his battle against one of the Pacifistas in the Sabaody Archipelago. Approximately how strong is Urouge in the story? Check the following discussion so you know the answer!
Physical Strength
One aspect that stands out about Urouge is his large and muscular physique. He seems to have an advantage in hand-to-hand combat. His physical strength can increase even more rapidly when he activates his devil fruit ability.
Despite his large body size, Urouge has quite agile reflexes and movements. He was proven to be able to keep up with Killer's speed when the two of them clashed at the Sabaody Archipelago.
His Devil Fruit Abilities
Although Urouge's devil fruit name is not yet known, he has been confirmed as a devil fruit user in One Piece Blue Deep: Characters World. His devil fruit ability allows him to convert any injuries or damage he receives into physical strength.
Simply put, Urouge can get stronger if he is hit by many attacks from opponents. He was able to change his body size to become larger until he matched the size of the Pacifista.
Apart from that, Urouge can increase his muscles so that his fists have more impact on opponents. He proved capable of taking on the Pacifista and dealing him several fatal blows.
He Has Unique Weapon
Apart from relying on his fists, Urouge also uses a unique weapon in the shape of a hexagon pillar. The pillar looks very heavy. Urouge can swing the pillar like a club to hit his enemies.
When the pillar is not being used in battle, Urouge often carries the pillar on his shoulders.
He Had Defeated One of Big Mom's Sweet Commanders
One of the interesting facts about Urouge is that he once defeated Big Mom's sweet commander, Charlotte Snack, who had a bounty of 600,000,000 Belly. Unfortunately, their fight takes place off-screen, aka it is not shown in the story.
This fact can be used as a benchmark to show that Urouge's strength is at least at the level of a Yonko commander.
