Duel Masters is an anime about card games that is interesting to watch. Although not as popular as Yu-Gi-Oh!, this anime presents various interesting monster cards and fun duels between characters.

10.Dr. Root Westhandler

Dr. Root Westhandler is a mad scientist and skilled duelist. He is very skilled at creating robots. He even has a giant robot that he can ride.

Dr. Root has an eccentric method in dueling. He likes to give secret lessons to Shobu and his friends. He uses a Survivors deck and focuses on the Darkness/Water attribute.

9. Mikuni

Mikuni is one of the Four Temple Guardians who works under Hakuou's command. He uses a Fire deck. His abilities as a duelist are impressive because he once defeated Shobu in their first duel.

Mikuni was also able to imitate the strategy used by Shobu so that he became superior. Despite this, Shobu managed to defeat Mikuni in the second duel. After being defeated by Shobu, Mikuni was then thrown away by Hakuoh.

8. Sayuki Manaka

Next, there is Shobu's good friend named Sayuki Manaka. She is a sweet girl and likes to speak softly. Apart from that, she has great concern for Shobu.

Sayuki is always willing to help Shobu and cheer him up when he is down. She also often watches Shobu's matches. Her support can make Shobu more determined to win.

7. Rekuta Kadoko

Rekuta Kadoko is Shobu's best friend and is very loyal to him. He is indeed very skilled at understanding the rules of dueling, but he is a bad duelist and always lost in duels.

Since childhood, Hakuou has loved games more than anything else. However, he once experienced a bad incident that almost killed him. This incident made him become a cold figure and no longer felt pleasure in dueling.

3. Mimi Tasogare

Next, there is Shobu's friend named Mimi Tasogare. She initially looks bad at dueling. As time went by, it was revealed that she is a professional player and part of the Four Temple Guardians.

Another interesting thing about Mimi is her super physical strength. She is able to destroy walls and is a martial artist. As a duelist, she is very skilled in using the Nature Civilization deck.

2. Kyoushiro Kokujo

Kyoshiro Kokujou is Shobu's main rival who claims to be an "evil genius". He has long hair and dresses all in black. His appearance is in harmony with the deck he uses, namely Darkness Civilization.

His skill in using this deck earned him the nickname Black Death. He also likes to use clever tactics during duels. Even though he is often hostile to Shobu, he sometimes helps Shobu in certain situations.

1. Shobu Kirifuda

As the main MC in Duel Masters, it is not surprising that Shobu Kirifuda is in first place. He has the ambition to become the best duelist in the world because he wants to follow in his father's footsteps.

Shobu always appears positive and full of enthusiasm. He not only pursued victory, but he also enjoyed the pleasure he felt during a duel. He is very skilled in using the Fire Civilization deck.
