1. Kuro Kumogakure
Kuro Kumogakure is a NEET teenager who appears gloomy and lacks enthusiasm. He often commits ridiculous acts, such as stealing his neighbor's drink.
Despite his unconvincing appearance, Kuro Kumogakure is a formidable and cunning ninja. He can manipulate others into doing certain things. He is also capable of agile maneuvers in combat.
2. Ai Kawado
Kuro has a pretty roommate, Ai Kawado. She seems very easygoing and gets along well with others. She also enjoys drinking alcohol and getting drunk.
When Kuro was given a mission to infiltrate a school, he asked Kawado to help him impersonate his mother. Interestingly, she was able to embody her role so well that the school authorities believed her.
3. Suzuki
Next, there's the beautiful ninja named Suzuki. She disguises herself as a student and participates in missions with Kuro and the others. She has a very strange habit: she's obsessed with the smell of old men.
In the past, Suzuki was one of the top graduates of Ninja High School. She possesses exceptional counterintelligence skills. In her fight against Saruta, she suffered a severe injury to her leg.
4. Shion Hachiya
Next, there's Shion Hachiya, who usually carries a teddy bear. He may appear young and innocent, but he is a descendant of elite ninjas and is the future leader of The Seven.
Shion also has a cunning and manipulative side. He once used a girl named Mako to protect him from an Under Ninja attack. He also possesses impressive sword skills.
5. Miracle Hibi
Miracle Hibi is a rather eccentric ninja. He has long hair and is seen wearing glasses. He also seems to have a fierce rivalry with Kuro.
In the past, Miracle Hibi survived a lightning strike. He always gets excited whenever he talks about it. Interestingly, he has the ability to emit electric attacks at his opponents.
6. Katou
Katou is one of the ninja instructors tasked with hunting down the Under Ninja. He is the one who delivers the mission to Kuro. He also holds the authority of Onikabe's superior.
Katou has a very serious nature and doesn't trust others easily. He was suspicious of Kuro's actions. His fighting skills aren't fully demonstrated, but he controls a cardboard-like robot.
7. Sasama
Sasama was initially introduced as an old man who often hung out in the park. Unexpectedly, this appearance was merely a disguise. She is actually a formidable-looking woman.
Sasama also possessed high authority, being able to command the ninja squad. In terms of abilities, she demonstrated her fighting prowess against the Russian man.
8. Eita
Eita is a timid high school student who lives near Kuro's boarding house. He was once bullied by his classmates, causing him to refuse to go to school. However, he overcame this problem thanks to Kuro's help.
Eita's hobby is operating drones. He often uses them to secretly spy on Sawado. He also often fantasizes about Sawado.
9. Onikobe
Onikobe has been Suzuki's rival since their days at Ninja High School. She usually follows Katou's orders. She also wears a Marici costume, which makes her invisible.
Onikabe possesses a deadly ability, allowing her to eliminate enemies without being noticed. Unfortunately, she was killed after letting her guard down for a moment during the battle against Saruta.
10. Noguchi
Unlike the previous characters, Noguchi is not a ninja. He is just an ordinary high school student living a normal life. However, his days take a slightly different turn after he meets Kuro.
Noguchi seems to have developed an interest in Kuro. They both displayed some hilarious antics. For example, when she was surprised by Kuro sneaking into her room at night.
11. Shinobu
Before being trapped in a cat's body, Shinobu was a ninja named Nekohira. Somehow, he was killed and his brain transplanted into a cat's body.
He was then called Shinobu by Sawado. He often stayed at Sawado's house to get free food. He also liked to take advantage of him by acting spoiled in front of Sawado.
12. Foreigner
Foreigner/Russian man is one of the more interesting ninja enemies at the beginning of the story. He ordered to infiltrate the ninja organization. He did all of this for his precious daughter.
He also caused trouble and attacked people who urinated in public. His actions attracted the attention of ninjas like Kuro. However, he was eventually recruited by Sasama to join the ninja group.
13. Yamada Mitsuki
When she first appeared, Yamada Mitsuki was described as the most beautiful girl in school, as claimed by Eita. However, she had a rather silly side. She also seemed to enjoy playing around with others.
Beneath her cute appearance, Yamada Mitsuki was a very strong and dangerous ninja. Her body was very muscular. She also had a painful past that led to her hatred of ninjas.
14. Ranran Hibi
As her name suggests, Ranran Hibi is Miracle Hibi's sister. She has a gothic lolita-like appearance. She appears to specialize in computer operations.
Ranran was once tasked with analyzing the weaknesses of the Under Ninja costume. She was shown to be very meticulous, allowing her to find useful information. Her other task was to send messages to activate Escape upon command.
15. Saruta
Finally, there was the Under Ninja named Saruta, who once posed a serious threat to the NIN organization. He killed both ninjas and civilians for fun.
However, Saruta also harbored an obsession with revenge against Suzuki and Okinobe. He felt hurt by the two of them who had played with his feelings in the past. That's what makes him evil.
