Touma Kamiyama is a novelist who loves writing stories. He also owns a charming bookstore called Fantastic Bookstore Kamiyama. However, his peaceful life as a novelist begins to change after he is chosen to wield the Flame Sword Rekka.
With this sword, Touma gains the power to fight as Kamen Rider Saber, enabling him to defeat the Megiddo and save the world from destruction. Furthermore, he continues to grow stronger over time.
Throughout the story, Kamen Rider Saber has various forms with interesting appearances and powers. Curious? Let's get straight to the point!
1. Brave Dragon
Brave Dragon is the primary form typically used by Kamen Rider Saber in battle. Touma accesses this form by using the Brave Dragon Wonder Ride Book along with the Seiken Swordriver.
Although this form is Saber's base form, Touma has demonstrated his strong warrior resolve, allowing him to unleash powerful attacks with the Flame Sword Rekka, such as when he clashed swords with Slash. This form's finishing technique is Kaen Juujizan.
2. Crimson Dragon
Saber's next strongest form is Crimson Dragon, which is accessed by using three Wonder Ride Books: Brave Dragon, Storm Eagle, and Saiyuu Journey. Saber's power in this form is said to be twice as great as Brave Dragon.
This form allows Saber to create fire tornadoes and attack opponents with a special staff similar to Sun Wukong's staff. For a time, Crimson Dragon dominated the fight against Calibur.
3. Dragon Eagle Arthur
After gaining the power of the King of Arthur Wonder Ride Book, Saber gained a significant power boost. By combining the Wonder Ride Book with Brave Dragon and Storm Eagle, Saber was able to transform into Dragon Eagle Arthur.
In terms of power, this form can be considered on par with Crimson Dragon. Furthermore, Saber in this form is equipped with the sword Kingexcalibur, which increases her attack power. Interestingly, Saber can summon and control King Arthur to defeat her enemies.
4. Dragonic Knight
Dragonic Knight is Saber's upgraded form, accessed by using the Dragonic Knight Wonder Rider Book in conjunction with the Seiken Swordriver. In this form, Saber's power increases significantly, surpassing that of Calibur's Jaou Dragon.
Furthermore, Dragonic Knight can deflect attacks and redirect them back at her enemies. Furthermore, this form allows Saber to summon the Brave Dragon mecha in battle.
5. Primitive Dragon
Primitive Dragon is a form of Kamen Rider Saber accessed by Touma after obtaining the Primitive Dragon Wonder Ride Book. When using this form, Touma loses control and attacks anyone around him.
Interestingly, Primitive Dragon's fighting style is more like a wild animal than a knight. However, Primitive Dragon's power is immense and difficult to defeat. After understanding the plight of Primitive Dragon, Touma finally gains control of this form.
6. Elemental Primitive Dragon
After successfully defeating the Primitive Dragon, Saber was able to access a new form, the Elemental Primitive Dragon. Touma accessed this form using the Primitive Dragon and the Elemental Dragon Wonder Ride Book.
This form is Kamen Rider Saber's super form, significantly increasing his power. In this form, Touma can use all five elements of nature, and he was able to easily defeat Legiel Forbidden.
7. Emotional Dragon
Emotional Dragon is essentially Saber's form that appeared exclusively in The Phoenix Swordsman and the Book of Ruin, but it reappeared in episode 35 when Saber fought Isaac.
To access this form, Touma needs the Emotional Dragon Wonder Ride Book. In terms of power, Emotional Dragon is quite impressive. In this form, Touma was able to defeat the extremely indestructible Bahato.
8. Xross Saber
Xross Saber is the final form of Kamen Rider Saber, which Touma accessed after obtaining the Haouken Xross Saber sword. This sword was created by combining the power of all the Seiken, or sacred swords of the knights.
When using this form, Saber's power significantly increases, surpassing even Kamen Rider Solomon. One of Xross Saber's special abilities is the ability to restore anything destroyed by Solomon.
9. Featuring Saber
Featuring Saber is a more powerful form than Xross Saber, activated by combining Brave Dragon, Lion Senki, and Lamp Do Alangina Wonder Ride Books with Xross Saber's Haouken sword.
Because Rintaro and Kento's Wonder Ride Books were used by Touma, they were unable to transform into Kamen Riders. However, they were still able to assist Saber with the limited power they had remaining within them.
10. Almighty Saber
Almighty Saber is an additional final form possessed by Kamen Rider Saber, harnessing the power of the Almighty Wonder Ride Book. While the design and appearance of this form are similar to Brave Dragon, the two forms differ significantly in power.
Almighty Saber is directly connected to Luna's power. With the help of the Blades and the Espada, Almighty Saber was ultimately able to surpass Storious' power and defeat him in battle.
In exchange for this immense power, Touma's humanity faded after the battle, until he reawakened as the new guardian of Wonder World. However, he managed to return to his friends after a year had passed.
