Although Ryuya is a shogun, he has a relaxed and down-to-earth personality. He is also very friendly towards others. Furthermore, he is highly respected by the people.
Ryuya deeply cares about the land and its people. He strives to protect and prioritize their safety when danger threatens, such as an attack by the Paladins.
High Authority in the Land of Hino
As a shogun, Ryuya naturally has high authority and is able to command his subordinates, especially the Ryuzen Seven. He is the one who asked the Ryuzen Seven to teach Asta how to use Zetten.
Following Ryuya's orders, they trained Asta intensely so he could master Zetten quickly. When Ryuya sensed a threat from the Paladins, he immediately gave the command to the Ryuzen Seven to prepare for battle.
Good Friends with Yami Sukehiro
One interesting fact about Ryuya is that he has been good friends with Yami Sukehiro since they were children. The two often played and fished together in their free time.
