Her Personality
Mikoto is a serious adventurer with a strong sense of honor. She dislikes using cowardly tactics that could endanger the safety of others.
Although Makoto always appears serious, she still has a soft and feminine side. She is also very loyal to her closest friends. If she owes someone a favor, she will do her best to repay it.
Her Background
Mikoto comes from a place called the Far East. Since her parents died, she has been cared for by Takemikazuchi, along with other orphans. They live in a simple temple.
In the past, Mikoto and the other members of the Takemikazuchi Familia used to play with Sanjouno Haruhime. However, their friendship soured after Haruhime's father discovered their close relationship.
Her Reasons for Joining the Hestia Familia
As mentioned previously, Mikoto is a person with honor and knows how to repay favors. She and her friends survived a monster attack thanks to the help of Bell Cranel.
When Bell and the Hestia Familia needed help in a War Game against the Apollo Familia, Mikoto lent a helping hand and fought on Bell's side. After that incident, she decided to leave the Takemizuchi Familia and join the Hestia Familia.
Swordsmanship and Self-Defense Skills
During her time with the Takemikazuchi Familia, Makoto learned both barehanded and sword fighting skills. Makoto mastered two signature martial arts techniques: the Mikazuchi and Zekka techniques.
However, Makoto prefers to fight with a katana when facing monsters. She wields her sword skillfully and dexterously. Furthermore, she is able to fight effectively in a team.
Gravity Magic
Mikoto has mastered a gravity-type magic called Futsunomitama. This magic can generate a gravitational field in a specific area, dealing massive damage. Magic has become her ultimate weapon in emergency situations.
Mikoto once used this magic to temporarily stop Black Goliath. Although its power wasn't enough to defeat Black Goliath, its effect allowed her teammates enough space to attack the monster.
