In Kamen Rider Ryuki, there are Mirror Monsters who live in Mirror World as the result of Kanzaki Shiro's experiments. They attack and consume humans through mirrors, making them a very dangerous presence.
Not only that, Mirror Monsters can form contracts with Riders using Contract Cards. Once a contract is successfully formed, they officially becomes the Rider's fighting partner. However, if the contract is broken, the monster will attack its master.
In this article, we will discuss all Contract Monsters in Kamen Rider Ryuki. Let's get straight to the point!
1. Dragreder
Drageder is Kamen Rider Ryuki's Contract Monster that is based on a Japanese dragon. It possesses a variety of fire-based attack techniques.
Initially, Drageder intended to consume Shinji. However, he then formed a contract with Drageder and transformed into Kamen Rider Ryuki. Midway through the story, Drageder evolved into Draganzer after Ryuki activated a Survive Card.
2. Darkwing
Darkwing is Kamen Rider Knight's Contract Monster. This bat-like monster could be blamed for Eri's coma. To save his lover, Ren formed a contract with Darkwing and transformed into Kamen Rider Knight.
Although Darkwing repeatedly targeted Eri, it is truly loyal to Ren. Darkwing will always assist Ren in battle. Like Ryuki's monster, Darkwing can evolve into Darkraider after Kamen Rider Knight uses a Survive Card.
3. Volcancer
Next, there's Kamen Rider Scissor's Contract Monster, Volcancer. This monster has the form of a humanoid crab with giant pincers. Volcancer typically uses these pincers like scissors to attack other Riders.
Volcancer is a perfect example of the consequences of battle between Riders. After Scissor's Deck was destroyed by Knight, his contract with Volcancer was automatically broken, leading to Scissor being devoured by his own monster.
4. Magnugiga
Magnugiga is Kamen Rider Zolda's Contract Monster. This monster resembles a Minotaur in appearance and is quite large and heavy. Compared to other Contract Monsters, Magnugiga appears to have limited mobility.
However, Magnugiga is equipped with thousands of firearms within its body. When Zolda unleashes a final attack, Magnugiga unleashes a devastating attack that has the potential to destroy anything in its path.
5. Evildiver
Next up is Kamen Rider Raia's Contract Monster, Evildiver. This stingray monster is quite unique because it has the ability to fly through the air. Furthermore, it has also formed contracts with several people.
Evildiver's first master was Yuichi Sato, who became the first Kamen Rider Raia. After Yuichi was eaten by the mirror monster, Tezuka replaced Yuichi as Raia and attempted to stop the fighting between the Riders. However, he was defeated by Ouja. After Raia's death, Evildiver attempted to kill Ouja, but Ouja instead formed a contract with this monster.
6. Metalgelas
Metalgelas is a humanoid rhinoceros monster that formed a contract with Kamen Rider Gai. Metalgelas has a fairly brutal nature and likes to charge at opponents. Furthermore, Metalgelas can move extremely fast, making its attacks quite deadly.
Metalgelas's strength is proven to be able to crush cars with ease. Furthermore, Metalgelas was initially very loyal to Gai. However, Metalgelas later became Ouja's contract monster after Gai was killed in a battle between Riders.
7. Venosnaker
Compared to the previous monsters, Venosnaker is extremely dangerous, and its power can perhaps be considered on par with Dragreder. It can spit poisonous deadly venom that can melt anything.
Furthermore, Venosnaker also has a very wild side and is always hungry, making this monster a perfect match for Asakura's battle-crazed personality. When Venosnaker combines with Metalgelas and Evildiver, the three monsters transform into Genocider, which has even greater and more terrifying power.
8. Destwilder
Next, there's Destwilder, Kamen Rider Tiger's Contract Monster. Its resembles a humanoid white tiger with extremely sharp and powerful claws. Destwilder usually appears suddenly and launches a surprise attack.
When Tiger launches a finishing attack, Destwilder will impale the target with its claws and drag them across the ground to end the battle. After Tiger's death, Destwilder briefly goes wild and devours others. However, it is later destroyed by Ryuki.
9. Gigazelle
Kamen Rider Imperer's contract monster is also very unique because Gigazelle doesn't fight alone. Gigazelle can summon other antelope mirror monsters through electrical signals. Furthermore, the antelope monster wields a staff with two horns as its weapon.
Gigazelle and its fellow monsters are capable of extremely fast movement. Furthermore, their tendency to flock together makes Imperer's contract monsters extremely dangerous. Unfortunately, Imperer and Gigazelle's actions only appear briefly in the story.
10. Goldphoenix
Next, there's Kamen Rider Odin's Contract Monster, Goldphoenix. It has a very elegant design with a very strong gold motif. Furthermore, Goldphoenix has the ability to control fire and wind storms.
Goldphoenix is the most powerful and overpowered mirror world monster compared to the others. Goldphoenix's powers perfectly match those of Kamen Rider Odin, as both are equally powerful and capable of giving other riders a hard time.
11. Biogreeza
Biogreeza is Kamen Rider Verde's Contract Monster, which first appeared in special episode 13 Riders.
Based on chameleon, its look isn't intimidating as the previous monsters. Due to its brief appearance, there's little information available about it.
12. Blancwing
Like Biogreeza, Blancwing doesn't appear in the main series, but it appears in Kamen Rider Ryuki: Episode Final movie.
Blancwimg is Kamen Rider Femme's Contract Monster that looks quite graceful and perfectly matches Femme's feminine characteristics. Furthermore, Femme always wears Blancwing's cape on her back.
13. Dragblacker
Dragblacker can be considered the dark version of Drageder. It is Kamen Rider Ryuga's Contract Monster, and its design is very similar to Ryuki's dragon.
However, Dragblacker's power seems to be slightly superior to Drageder's, but his attacks are more or less similar to Drageder's. However, Dragblacker's fire attacks are dark black.
Uniquely, Dragblacker can lock a target in place so Kamen Rider Ryuga can deliver a deadly finishing attack. Dragblacker and Ryuga's power has proven capable of destroying Genocider and surpassing Ouja.
14. Psyco-Rogue
Unlike the previous thirteen monsters, Psyco-Rogue is a contract monster from Kamen Rider Alternative.
One of Psyco-Rogue's main abilities is that it can transform into a motorcycle, commonly known as a Psycoroader. This motorcycle is typically used by Kamen Rider Alternative to deliver a finishing attack by ramming into targets at high speed.
15. Abyssodon (Abysshammer & Abysslasher)
Finally, there's a Contract Monster from Kamen Rider Abyss that only appears in Kamen Rider Decade. Abyssodon is a combination of Abysshammer and Abysslasher, resembling a giant shark.
Kamen Rider Abyss summons Abyssodon when he uses his Final Vent attack to finish off an opponent. Despite its terrifying appearance, Abyssodon is easily destroyed by Decade and Kamen Rider Ryuki, who transforms into a Draggeder.
