Spade Pirates was a group of pirates led by Portgas D. Ace. Although they are less explored in the manga story, they play an important role in the story of One Piece novel A which tells about the adventures of Ace.

1. Portgas D. Ace
Before joining Whitebeard's crew, Ace had led his own pirate group. He oversaw several members who are very loyal to him. In addition, he was able to make his pirate group famous throughout the world.
Ace and the Spade pirates visited Wano in the past. He intended to oppose Kaido. However, he instead got into a fight with Yamato and they eventually become friends.
2. Masked Deuce
Masked Deuce was the first crew member to join Ace. When he first met Ace, he didn't remember anything about himself. Seeing this, Ace called him by that name.
Deuce uses a distinctive mask to cover up his true identity. In One Piece novel A Vol.1, he is described as a tough character because he is able to withstand the power of a vice admiral named Draw.
3. Skull
Skull was one of the most interesting members of the Spade Pirates. As his name implies, he usually wears a skull-shaped mask. He also has a fairly large and muscular body.
Although his fighting prowess is not shown to be full, Skull appears to be carrying a sword. Apart from that, he also displayed extensive knowledge of the pirate world.
4. Mihar
Unlike Skull, Mihar has a more closed nature. He prefers to spend activities indoors, such as reading books. In addition, he really cares about the condition of abandoned children.
Skill-wise, Mihar was considered one of the best fighters in the Spade Pirates. He has expertise as a sniper.
5. Saber
Saber was part of the Spade pirate crew who is very loyal to Ace. He appeared in the flashback story of the battle between Ace and Shirohige. He was worried about Ace's condition at that time.
Saber's abilities are not shown clearly in the story. However, he is seen carrying two swords as weapons.
6. Kotatsu
Unlike the previous members, Kotatsu is a tiger phanter who looks quite ferocious. After being rescued by Ace, he joined Ace as a member of the Spade Pirates.
Kotatsu has sharp claws which he uses to fight. Although he looks wild, he is described as having a cowardly side.
7. Aggie 68
The next member of the Spade pirates is a large man named Aggie 68. Apart from being big, he seems to change his hands with a triple gun. He also uses a revolver-shaped weapon.
8. Leonero
Leonero is described as a tall man with neat clothes. Like the other members, his fighting abilities are not shown in full. Even so, he is seen carrying a trident as a weapon.
9. Finamore
Next, there is Finamore, who is short in stature and has a very unique clothing style. He is seen carrying a cane that looks like a guandao. However, we don't know how good he is in battle.
10. Banshee

11. Cornelia
