1. Jayden Shiba – Red Samurai Ranger
Jayden Shiba is the leader of the Ranger Samurai team who comes from the Shiba clan. He has a very strong determination in battle. He has been trained since childhood by Mentor Ji so that he can grow up to be a true samurai.
At first, Jayden preferred to fight alone rather than with a team. He didn't want to put his friends in danger. Nonetheless, he gradually began to learn to become a great leader.
As a Red Ranger, Jayden is the strongest in the team. He has an interesting sword called Fire Smasher and is able to issue fire attacks. He also controls several Zords, such as the Lion FoldingZord, TigerZord, and BullZord.
2. Kevin – Blue Samurai Ranger
Just like Jayden, Kevin has been trained since childhood to become a true samurai. He always appears serious and carries out his mission with full responsibility. In order to carry out his mission as a samurai, he is willing to leave his dream of becoming a swimming athlete.
Kevin often serves as Jayden's right hand man. He would lead the team when Jayden was not around. In addition, he has the brilliant idea of combining Zords to form a new Megazord formation.
Kevin is able to use the water element in battle. He has a weapon in the form of an arrow called the Hydro Bow. On top of that, he controls the two main Zords in battle, namely the Dragon FoldingZord and the SwordfishZord.
3. Mia Watanabe – Pink Samurai Ranger
Mia Watanabe is a character who is smart and has high concern for others. In addition, she has a graceful and charming appearance that makes others admire her.
Mia loves to cook and thinks of herself as a great cook. However, the taste of the food is very bad. Even so, she has talent in music because her voice is so sweet to hear.
As the Pink Ranger, Mia is highly skilled in using the sky element. She has a unique fan-shaped weapon called Sky Fan. Additionally, she controls the Turtle FoldingZord in battle.
4. Mike – Green Samurai Ranger
Mike is a very laid back samurai who loves video games. His personality is the complete opposite of Kevin's. Even so, he is able to fight very hard and learn to become stronger.
Mike has a good sense of humor and is able to break up a tense atmosphere. In addition, He is also known as a creative person in solving problems. He is also very protective of Emily.
In harmony with the color of his costume, Mike is able to control the jungle elements in battle. He uses a unique spear named Forest Spear. On top of that, he controls two Zords, namely the Bear FoldingZord and the BeetleZord.
5. Emily – Yellow Samurai Ranger
The fifth member of the Samurai team is a cute girl named Emily. She initially had problems with his self-confidence. She often thinks of herself as a burden because she loses out compared to her friends.
Nonetheless, Emily slowly begins to learn to be more optimistic. She can grow strong in her own way. In addition, she is sometimes able to save the team in critical situations.
As the Yellow Ranger, Emily uses the earth element in combat. She fights with a very unique weapon called Earth Slicer. She controls an interesting Zord named the Ape FoldingZord.
6. Antonio Garcia – Gold Samurai Ranger
Antonio Garcia is Jayden's childhood friend who is very cheerful and full of optimism. He has a background as a fisherman. For this reason, he is often seen carrying fishing rods and fish carts.
Although Antonia is not of samurai descent, he manages to prove herself worthy of being one. He is a genius in the field of technology. He is shown to be able to create the Samurai Morpher which he uses to transform into the Gold Ranger.
Antonio is the representation of the symbol of light. He is able to fight very quickly. He uses a unique weapon called the Barracuda Blade. Additionally, he controls several unique Zords, such as OctoZord, ClawZord, and LightZord.
7. Lauren Shiba – Red Samurai Ranger II
Lauren Shiba is Jayden's older sister who appears near the end of the story. She is known as the head of the 18th Shiba clan. In addition, her main task is to learn the sealing power that can stop Master Xandred and Nighloks.
After mastering the sealing power, Lauren reappears and confronts Jayden. Her presence made the team hesitate and falter, especially Jayden. Nonetheless, it only lasted for a short time.
Just like Jayden, Lauren has the power to transform into the Red Ranger. She is able to fight using Fire Smasher. Apart from that, she could also control the Lion FoldingZord and TigerZord without difficulty.
