Green Mantis is one of the most interesting magic knight squads in Clover Kingdom. Similar to Black Bull, they have a less than good reputation compared to other magic squads.
Even though it is not really highlighted in the story, Green Mantis has several strong members. Who are they? Check out the full review below!
1. Jack The Ripper
Green Mantis is led by a captain named Jack The Ripper. He has an intimidating face and always shows a sadistic smile. In addition, he has a fierce rivalry with Yami.
Jack has very strong Slash Magic. He can summon scythes on both arms and deliver deadly slashes. The longer he slashed his two scythes, the stronger the slash he produced.
2. En Ringard
From the outside, En Ringard does look weak and unreliable. However, he is one of Jack's best subordinates who has great potential. He proved capable of joining the Royal Knights squad.
En also has a very unique magic, namely mushroom magic. He is able to produce various kinds of fungi that can cause certain effects. He can spread fungal spores silently into other people's bodies and then activate his powers from a distance.
3. Secke Bronzazza
If you love Black Clover, you are definitely familiar with him. Sekke Bronzazza has a very silly nature and likes to bring humor to the story. Besides, he really likes to exaggerate himself in front of others.
Sekke masters a unique magic, Bronze Magic. The magic allows Sekke to create and manipulate bronze. One of his signature magic spells is Sekke Magnum Cannonball.
4. Willie
Not only En Ringard, Willie was one of the representatives from Green Mantis who had the opportunity to take part in the Royal Knights Selection Exam. He became a member of Team D along with Cesc and Adrian. However, their team was defeated by Team C which consisted of Kirsch, Sol, and Magna.
Willie is a quite skilled user of Mud Magic. He has a technique called Flash Bog. The technique allows him to turn the battle area into a muddy field that can paralyze his enemies.
5. Nix
The last member of Green Mantis is Nix. He also participated in the Ryoal Knights Selection Examination. In the exam, he joined Team J. Unfortunately, his team had to face Riil so they lost easily.
In terms of abilities, Nix is a fire magic user. He has a spell called Flame Spike. The attack takes the form of a fireball which then grows a kind of thorn.
