Shigaraki Tomura is one of the most threatening enemies in the story of Boku no Hero Academia. Even though he was the grandson of a hero, he ironically fell into darkness and became the successor of All For One.
Like his mentor, Shigaraki has many Quirks. This is one of the reasons that makes him so difficult to beat in the battle. This article will discuss top ten strongest Quirks that Shigaraki has.
10. Search
Search is basically a Quirk that Ragdoll has. However, the Quirk was stolen by All For One so he then gave it to Shigaraki. As the name suggests, this Quirk is very useful for search purposes.
Search allows its users to see more than 100 people at the same time. Tomura used this Quirk's ability to find the location of One For All.
9. Radio Waves
Similar to the previous Quirk, Radio Waves is a supporting Quirk and is not suitable for combat. Its users are able to release electromagnetic waves that can disrupt and cut off communication lines in certain areas.
Tomura used the Quirk's power to cut off the heroes' communication so that their coordination was disrupted. Apart from that, Tomura, who was under All For One's control, also used Radio Waves when attacking Tartarus.
8. Scatter
The next Tomura's Quirk is Scatter which is quite useful in battle. Its users can divide and multiply bullets before firing them at enemies. The effect can increase strength and long-range attack radius.
Tomura first showed this Quirk when he fought against Star and Stripe. The moment he caught the jet's laser attack, he fired it back at them at full power.
7. Reflect
Reflect is a Quirk that allows the user to copy the attack they receive and then create a similar attack with the same level of strength. Users can absorb several sources of attack at one time.
However, the users can only release all attacks in one direction at the same time. This Quirk is basically very strong, but Tomura lost it due to the effects of Star and Stripe's New Order.
6. Heavy Payload
Unlike the previous Quirk, Heavy Payload is not explained in much detail. However, this Quirk seems to increase the damage output of the user's attacks so that the impact becomes more fatal.
Tomura displays the Quirk along with Radio Waves and Air Cannon in the battle against Star and Stripe. This combination seems to be as strong as All For One's Quirk combination.
5. Air Cannon
Air Cannon is one of the strongest Quirks that Shigaraki usually uses in battle. The Quirk allows him to fire high-pressure air cannons through the palm of his hand.
The air cannon can be fired and manifested in various ways depending on the user's hand movements. For example, Shigaraki can shoot it straight or concentrated in a certain area, and form it like an air blade.
4. Rivet Stab
Rivet Stab is one of All For One's unique quirks. He later bequeathed it to Shigaraki. This quirk allows the user to emit black tendrils mixed with red crack lines.
The tendrils are very sharp and can pierce the target's body easily. Shigaraki showed this technique to stab Endeavor and also Bakugo who was trying to save Deku.
3. Super Regeneration
One of the reasons that makes Shigaraki so difficult to kill is his Super Regeneration ability. When he is injured, he can heal his wounds very quickly.
In fact, Shigaraki was still able to survive even though he was hit by Endeavor's Prominence Burn attack. In fact, this attack was Endeavor's strongest move which managed to burn Hood into ashes.
2. All For One
All For One is one of the strongest Quirks in the story Boku no Hero Academia. All For One allows the user to steal other people's Quirks. He can use the Quirk's power for himself or give it to others.
Shigaraki received the Quirk from All For One. While in Shigaraki's body, All For One strengthens negative emotions such as anger and hatred towards Shigaraki. These emotions come from people whose Quirks were stolen by All For One in the past.
1. Decay
Even though All For One is very strong, Decay, which is Shigaraki's original Quirk, looks more overpowered and terrifying at this point. This quirk allows him to rot anything he touches until nothing remains.
The severity and scale of Decay's decay became more fatal after Shigaraki awakened his true power and underwent strengthening surgery from Dr. Garaki. Just by touching the ground, he could destroy a city in the blink of an eye.
Not only that, people can die if they are touched by objects that experience the decay effect of Decay. Because of this, the heroes fight tooth and nail to face Shigaraki's strength.
