If you ever watched Kuroko no Basket, you are definitely familiar with the group known as the "Uncrowned Kings". They are talented players who are in the same generation as the Generation of Miracles.
Even though their level is still below the Generation of Miracles, their abilities are above the average basketball player in general. They have certain specialties and advantages that make them very superior.
1. Teppei Kiyoshi
Teppei Kiyoshi is one of the strongest players who has big role as the foundation of the Seirin High. He is the one who first proposed forming a basketball team at Seirin High School. He is very kind and supportive of his teammates.
Kiyoshi has an advantage in playing basketball because of his large hands. He has the “Right of Postponoment” which allows him to make decisions after he sees his opponent's movements.
2. Makoto Hanamiya
In the Kirisaki Daiichi team, Makoto Hanamiya has a double roles as captain and coach for his friends. He has a very chaotic personality and enjoys seeing other players suffer.
One of Hanamiya's main advantages is his genius brain. He also mastered various basic techniques in basketball very skillfully. He can create "spider's web trap" that can immobilize the opposing team's movements.
3. Kotaro Hayama
Kotaro Hayama is one of the main players on the Rakuzan team. He has an energetic and confident nature. Despite that, he likes to underestimate enemies who are weaker than him.
Kotaro specializes in dribbling the ball. He can adjust the speed of his dribble according to the number of fingers he uses. The more fingers there are, the speed will increase rapidly until the opponent cannot follow his movements.
4. Reo Mibuchi
Just like Kotaro, Reo Mibuchi is a main player on the Rakuzan team. He is known by the nickname Yaksha. He usually displays a calm nature, but he can be irritated by someone's silly behavior.
Mibuchi was a very good shooter and was able to make Hyūga feel amazed. He has three variations of attacks, namely Heaven, Earth, and Oblivion/Void. Each attack has a different point of gravity so the opponent will have difficulty dealing with it.
5. Eikichi Nebuya
The last member of the Uncrowned Kings is Eikichi Nebuya, known by the nickname Herculean Strength. He has a large and sturdy physique. Apart from that, he has a hobby of eating large portions before he competes on the field.
Unlike his two previous partners, Nebuya has no special techniques or abilities. However, he has great raw strength and is used to relying on his muscles. He was well suited to the task of blocking opponents like Teppei Kiyoshi.
