Koi wa Ameagari is a romantic anime series adapted from the manga by Jun Mayuzuki. This anime tells the love story between a teenage girl named Akira Tachibana and a 45-year-old man named Masami Kondo.

First, there's the bespectacled boy named Shouta Kyan. He is Haruka's younger brother and has a friendly nature. He occasionally appears in the story when he accompanies his sister, such as when visiting a bookstore or a summer festival.
Furthermore, Shouta displays a caring and dependable demeanor, such as when he watches over his two younger siblings. Shouta also seems to care deeply about Haruka and Akira's friendship.

Yuto Kondo is Masami Kondo's son and is still in elementary school. Like most children, he has a cheerful and playful nature. He also enjoys playing music and raising hamsters.
Because his parents are divorced, Yuto doesn't get to see his father every day. However, her mother occasionally allows him to stop by the restaurant where Kondo works or go to his apartment.
7. Chihiro Kujo
Next, there's a famous writer named Chihiro Kujo. He was Kondo's best friend when they were in school. However, they lost touch and felt awkward around each other.
However, they later met and reunited after Kondo saw a book Chihiro had written. They talked about many things, especially about their youthful passion for writing.
6. Takashi Yoshikawa
Takashi Yoshikawa is Akira's classmate. He has a humorous and energetic nature. He likes to chase Akira around on various occasions, but Akira never pays any attention to him.
Funnily enough, Akira always disappears whenever Takashi asks for her phone number. Takashi is so obsessed with Akira that he even applies for a job at the restaurant where Akira works.

Ryosuke Kase is a chef who works as a waiter at the Garden restaurant. He has a rather harsh personality and likes to speak honestly without caring about other people's feelings.
Kase also shows interest in Akira. When he finds out that Akira likes the manager, he threatens Akira and forces her to date him. He even tells Akira that their relationship with the manager won't work out.

Then there's a cute girl named Haruka Kyan. She's been Akira's best friend since middle school. They were both in the track and field club and supported each other.
However, their relationship slowly soured after Akira suffered an injury and left the club. After the incident, Haruka became awkward when she met Akira. She wanted to repair her relationship with Akira, but it wasn't easy.

As the main protagonist of the story, Akira Tachibana is certainly a very interesting character. She has a beautiful face and an athletic body. Before her injury, Akira was considered a top runner in her club.
Akira uniquely tends to maintain a blank expression, which can confuse those around her when interacting with her. However, her demeanor can completely change when she's around her manager.
Akira develops a crush on manager Kondo after receiving warm treatment from Kondo. One rainy day, Akira, sitting in the Garden restaurant, was offered a free cup of coffee by Kondo.
