Kamen Rider Kuuga is the first series of Kamen Rider of in Heisei Period. Kuuga's powers come from an mysterious artifact called Amadam, created by the Linto, or ancient humans, to combat evil monsters called Grongi.
The person who became Kuuga is Yusuke Godai, a brave young man with a passion for adventure and a love of helping others. He transformed into Kamen Rider Kuuga to protect people's smiles.
In battle, Kuuga has various forms with unique powers and we will discuss about that more detail in this article. Check it out!
1. Growing Form
This is Kamen Rider Kuuga's basic form when he first appears in the story. Furthermore, Kuuga will revert to this form when he is exhausted in battle, or even injured after being hit by a powerful enemy attack.
Once in this form, he cannot transform again for two hours. Although Kuuga is very weak in this form, he can still deliver a finishing kick called Growing Kick, but its power is only one-third that of the Mighty Kick.
2. Mighty Form
Mighty Form is the Kuuga's form most frequently used by Godai Yuusuke. It is the most standard and balanced in terms of power. However, Kuuga in this form has no weapons to fight with. Instead, he fights barehanded against the Grongi.
In this form, Kuuga possesses a powerful kick called Mighty Kick, which he always uses to finish off the Grongi. The Mighty Kick is a long-range kick that leaves a mark on the Grongi's body, causing it to explode.
3. Dragon Form
The third form of Kamen Rider Kuuga is Dragon Form. In this form, Kuuga has the advantage of speed and also has the ability to jump very high. However, Kuuga's punching power and strength are reduced.
However, this can be anticipated because Kuuga in this form can transform an iron rod or pole into a weapon called Dragon Rod. Kuuga's final attack in this form is Dragon Splash, which involves propelling the staff toward the target or throwing it with great force.
4. Pegasus Form
Next, there's Pegasus Form, which enhances all of Kuuga's senses. This allows Kuuga to detect anything, especially monsters that are difficult to reach due to their special abilities, such as invisibility and flight.
In this form, Kuuga can transform his pistol into his own weapon, Pegasus Bowgun. With this weapon, Kuuga can fire bullets at enemies with great precision and accuracy.
5. Titan Form
Kuuga's next transformation is Titan Form. This form's special ability is that Kuuga's armor becomes extremely strong and impenetrable to enemies. Furthermore, this form can reduce damage to Kuuga's body from enemy attacks.
In this form, Kuuga can transform objects such as poles and similar objects into a sword called Titan Sword. Kuuga's main attack in Titan Form is Calamity Titan, a deadly sword attack that involves stabbing the Grongi.
6. Rising Mighty
Rising Mighty is Kuuga's Mighty Form enhanced with the power of gold. Compared to Mighty Form, Kuuga's abilities are significantly enhanced, both in terms of punching and kicking power.
Furthermore, Kuuga also wields a weapon in the form of the Mighty Anklet on his right foot. Thanks to this, Kuuga's final kick in this form is significantly more powerful, causing an explosion in a large radius.
7. Rising Dragon
Rising Dragon is Kuuga's Dragon Form enhanced with the power of gold. Like its predecessor, Kuuga's power in this form is also enhanced in terms of punching and kicking power.
Furthermore, his Dragon Rod weapon is also enhanced, becoming the Rising Dragon Rod, a double-sided, golden spear with a blue handle. His final attack in this form is the Rising Splash Dragon.
8. Rising Pegasus
Kuuga's next form is Rising Pegasus. In this form, Kuuga's primary abilities are not significantly enhanced. However, Kuuga can use this form for a longer duration, lasting a total of one minute and thirty seconds.
Furthermore, Kuuga's Pegasus Bowgun is also upgraded to the Rising Pegasus Bowgun. Kuuga's shots become more powerful and more lethal to opponents.
9. Rising Titan
Unlike the other forms, Rising Titan is Kuuga's first golden form. The power of Rising Titan is not significantly different from its previous form.
However, Kuuga can create a second Rising Titan Sword and use it to attack enemies. Using a single sword, Kuuga's attack in this mode is called the Rising Calamity Titan, a more powerful version of the Calamity Titan. Furthermore, Kuuga can also use the Double Rising Calamity Titan technique, using both swords to attack enemies.
10. Amazing Mighty
This form appears when Kuuga needs greater power to destroy an opponent. Amazing Mighty is Kuuga's super form, an upgrade from Rising Mighty.
This form is much more powerful than his previous forms. Kuuga's original red color changes to black and gold. Unlike Rising Mighty, Kuuga has Mighty Ankles on both legs in this form, allowing him to unleash deadly electric kicks with extreme explosive power.
11. Ultimate Form
Ultimate Form is Kuuga's final form in the original story and combines the powers of all his other forms. This form is used by Kuuga to fight the final boss, Daguva Zeba. In this form, Kuuga can also be considered a Supreme Warrior.
When Kuuga uses this form, he risks losing control and transforming into a monster like Daguva, and his eyes will turn from red to black. However, if Kuuga has a pure heart, he can master this form. Kuuga's power in this form is roughly equal to that of the extremely powerful Daguva.
12. Rising Ultimate
Rising Ultimate is Kuuga's strongest and exclusive form, never seen in the original series. It appears in the movie Kamen Rider Decade: All Rider vs. Dai Shocker. When using this form, Kuuga also runs the same risk of losing control and turning evil.
Yusuke Onodera was initially unable to control his powers, but he returned to normal after receiving help from the Decade K-Touch. The main attacks of this form are a super-powerful kick called the Rising Ultimate Kick and a fiery punch called the Rising Ultimate Punch.
