All Mist Breathing Techniques in Kimetsu no Yaiba, Explained

Mist Breathing is a very unique Breathing Style in Kimetsu no Yaiba. The breathing style mimics the thin, gentle properties of mist. Furthermore, the mist is very useful for deceiving enemies in combat.

The only known user of Mist Breathing so far is Muichiro Tokito. He is a very powerful Hashira with a strong hatred for demons. Furthermore, he is capable of using a variety of interesting and deadly techniques.

In this article, we will discuss about all of Mist Breathing techniques in Kimetsu no Yaiba. Check out the full review below!

1. Ichi no kata: Suiten Tōgasumi

Suiten Tōgasumi is a technique with simple yet deadly movements. When using this technique, Muichiro will deliver a powerful sword thrust towards the enemy.

2. Ni no kata: Yaekasumi

Unlike the first technique, the second technique allows Muichiro to unleash eight slashes simultaneously at his enemy. These slashes are quite fast, making them difficult for weaker opponents to avoid.

3. San no kata: Kasan no Shibuki

Kasan no Shibuki is more accurately described as a defensive technique. Through this technique, Muichiro can unleash circular slashes forward. These slashes can be used to deflect attacks aimed at him.

4. Shi no kata: Iryūgiri

Muichiro's fourth technique is Iryūgiri. When this technique is used, he draws his sword and slashes at the enemy at high speed. His movements are so fast that they are difficult to see.

5. Go no kata: Kaun no Umi

When using the fifth technique, Muichiro moves at high speed. After that, he unleashes several gentle slashes that can cover a wide area. He once used this technique to attack Kokushibo.

6. Roku no kata: Tsuki no Kashō

Next, there's the sixth technique called Tsuki no Kashō. When using this technique, Muichiro jumps into the air. Afterward, he unleashes a series of consecutive slashes at the target below him.

7. Shichi no kata: Oboro

Muichiro's final technique is Shichi no kata: Oboro. This technique allows Muichiro to change the tempo of his movements while fighting an enemy. This change in tempo can confuse the enemy.

When Muichiro uses this technique, the battle area is shrouded in a thick fog. When he reveals himself to the enemy, his movements are extremely slow. Conversely, he is extremely fast when he hides within the fog he creates.
