Its story of focuses on a man named Tendou Souji, who transforms into Kamen Rider Kabuto to fight the dangerous monster called Worms.
Furthermore, within this Kamen Rider universe, there is an organization called ZECT, tasked with eradicating the Worms. However, this organization also has a hidden secret that Tendou Souji later discovers.
In this article, we want to discuss all Riders and their powers in Kamen Rider Kabuto. Let's take a look at the list below.
1. Kamen Rider Kabuto
Tendou Souji is a young man who transforms into Kamen Rider Kabuto. He possesses advanced cooking skills and always shares wise advice from his grandmother.
In the past, he lost both of his parents in an incident caused by Worm. He also has a younger sister named Hiyori and a niece named Yuka Souji.
Before transforming into Kabuto, young Tendou received the Rider Belt from a Native Worm who mimicked his father. However, Tendou had to wait years to transform into Kamen Rider Kabuto. To do this, he frequently trained and strengthened his physique to be ready for battle.
Using Kabuto Zecter, Tendou can fight against the Worms as Kamen Rider Kabuto. What makes Tendou unique is that he fights on his own terms and refuses to obey orders from the ZECT organization.
Kamen Rider Kabuto has several forms: Masked Form which offers strong defense, Rider Form which is his primary form and is often used for combat, and Hyper Form which is his final and strongest form.
In the battle against Worms, Kabuto can use the Clock Up system to increases his speed. He also wields a multi-purpose weapon called the Kunaigun. This weapon has three modes: Gun Mode, Ax Mode, and Kunai Mode.
Furthermore, Kabuto's Rider Kick is also unique compared to other Heisei Riders, as he kicks any monster that comes his way with full force.
2. Kamen Rider Gattack
The secondary Rider who plays a crucial role in this story is Kamen Rider Gattack. He is a member of ZECT and the son of ZECT's leader, Kagami Arata.
He is also a close friend of Tendou and has a passionate nature. Unfortunately, he is often careless when carrying out missions. Despite his bad side, he holds his own principles of justice and is determined to eradicate all Worms.
Kagami transforms into Kamen Rider Gattack using the Gattack Zecter. Unlike other Zecter, Gattack is extremely ferocious and difficult to defeat.
Initially, Kagami was knocked out by the Gattack Zecter's attack and was rushed to the hospital. However, he was able to conquer the Zecter and transform into Kamen Rider Gattack.
Like Kabuto, Gattack has three forms: Masked Form, Rider Form, and Hyper Form. He also has a powerful weapon called Gattack Double Calibur, which he uses to slash his enemies. Kamen Rider Gattack has some finishing attacks, like Rider Kick and Rider Cutting.
3. Kamen Rider TheBee
Unlike other Kamen Riders, there are several users of TheBee Zecter. The first user of the Zecter was Sou Yaguruma, a former member of the Shadow Trooper group.
He adhered to the principle of Kanzen Chowa, or Perfect Harmony, which prioritizes teamwork. However, he was expelled for failing to capture Kabuto and failing as a team leader.
The second most frequent user of TheBee Zecter is Shun Kageyama, Yaguruma's subordinate. Unlike Yaguruma, Kageyama is obsessed with TheBee's power and is very obedient to ZECT's orders, even though his missions are sometimes dirty.
Ultimately, Kageyama suffered the same tragic fate as Yaguruma. He was expelled from ZECT and was no longer a Kamen Rider TheBee. Besides these two, other characters who have used TheBee are Kagami and Mishima.
Kamen Rider TheBee has two forms: Masked form and Rider Form. TheBee also has simple weaponry, making it highly suitable for close-range combat.
The Bee's primary attack is Rider Sting, a powerful sting that can explode enemies that can be used to finish off enemies.
4. Kamen Rider Drake
Next, there's Daisuke Kazama, who transforms into Kamen Rider Drake. He works as a makeup artist, accompanied by his childhood partner, Gon. He is a playboy who enjoys flirting with beautiful women.
Daisuke isn't particularly interested in becoming a Rider and is reluctant to collaborate with ZECT. However, Daisuke will fight at full strength when he must protect someone precious to him or to protect himself.
Daisuke transforms into Kamen Rider Drake using the Drake Zecter. He has two forms: Masked form and Rider form. He also wields a gun called Drake Grip that also functions as transformation device by attaching the Drake Zecter to it.
Like other ZECT Riders, Kamen Rider Drake also has two forms in the battle. He is more suited to long-range combat due to the weapon he uses. Because of that, he is often overwhelmed in close-quarters combat.
Kamen Rider Drake's finishing attack is Rider Shooting, a powerful blast shoot that can destroy his enemies.
5. Kamen Rider Sasword
The fifth Kamen Rider in this series is Kamen Rider Sasword. He is a young man from a noble family named Kamishiro Tsurugi.
He is an arrogant young man obsessed with achieving the pinnacle of everything. He often clashes with Tendou over trivial matters. He is always accompanied by his loyal servant, Jiiya.
Tsurugi transforms into Kamen Rider Sasword using the Sasword Zecter and Sasword Yaiver. He collaborated with ZECT to eradicate Worms in exchange for money.
What's surprising about Tsurugi is his true identity, the Scorpio Worm. The real Tsurugi was killed by the Worm, and his appearance was perfectly imitated.
However, Tsurugi's strong personality was able to suppress the Worm's evil side, causing him to have two personalities and occasionally lose control. Unfortunately, Worm Tsurugi dies at the end of the story after being defeated by Kabuto.
Kamen Rider Sasword has two main forms: a Masked form and Rider Form armed with a powerful sword. With this sword, Sasword is very adept at slashing worms. He has a deadly finishing attack called Rider Slashing.
6. Kamen Rider Kick Hopper
After leaving ZECT, Sou Yaguruma's life changed drastically. He felt abandoned by everyone, and he was abandoned and living on the streets.
He had lost all hope and confidence he had harbored. This was evident in his thug-like appearance and tattered clothing. Uniquely, he also gains new powers and transforms into Kamen Rider Kick Hopper.
Yaguruma transforms into Kamen Rider Kick Hopper by using the Hopper Zecter and attaching it to his ZECT belt. Furthermore, this Kamen Rider also has a single form.
As Kamen Rider Kick Hopper, Yaguruma's fighting style changes, focusing more on foot attacks than punches. He has superior abilty to jump high into the air and uses a powerful Rider Kick to defeat his enemies.
7. Kamen Rider Punch Hopper
Next, there's Kick Hopper's twin, Kamen Rider Punch Hopper. The man who transform into this Rider is Shun Kageyama, who was expelled from ZECT.
As a result, Shun's life is more or less the same as Yaguruma's, losing hope. Fortunately, Yaguruma is still willing to help Shun and considers him a brother or fellow aiki.
Kamen Rider Punch Hopper's design is more or less the same as Kick Hopper's, except that Kamen Rider Punch Hopper is overall metallic gray. Furthermore, this Kamen Rider's main strength focuses on his punching power, which is fully concentrated in his hands.
Unfortunately, Shun Kageyama suffers a rather tragic fate at the end of the story. He dies due to using a necklace from ZECT that transforms someone into a Native.
8. Kamen Rider Dark Kabuto
The next Rider is Dark Kabuto, the evil version of Kamen Rider Kabuto. The true identity of Dark Kabuto is Shouji Kusakabe, who has a very similar appearance to Tendou Shouji.
However, Shouji Kusakabe has a childish demeanor and is very different from the real Tendou because he was essentially a human transformed into a Native through experiments conducted by ZECT and Native. Then, he was forced to imitate Tendou's form.
Kusakabe transforms into a Kamen Rider using Dark Kabuto Zecter. His design is very similar to Kabuto's. The difference is that Dark Kabuto has a dark color with a special motif.
The weapons he uses in combat and his final attack are also similar to Kabuto's. Despite this, Dark Kabuto is a very formidable Rider and gave the real Kabuto a hard time fighting him. In the end, Dark Kabuto sacrifices himself so Kabuto and Gattack can survive the explosion.
9. Kamen Rider Hercus
Next, there's Kamen Rider Hercus, who appears in the movie Kabuto: God Speed Love. He is Hidenari Oda, a former member of ZECT. However, he desired freedom and ultimately chose to leave ZECT. He then founded his own organization, Neo-ZECT, to eradicate the Worms.
Oda transformed into Kamen Rider Hercus with the Hercus Zecter and Rider Brace. He only has one form. In combat, he uses the ZECT Kunaigun, which can transform into either gun or axe mode.
However, Kamen Rider Hercus tends to rely on long-range combat skills using the Kunai Gun. His signature attack technique is the Rider Beat. Unfortunately, Kamen Rider Hercus was easily defeated by Kamen Rider Caucasus.
10. Kamen Rider Ketaros
The next Rider that also appear in Kabuto movie is Kamen Rider Ketaros. He is Tetsuki Yamato, a very loyal and dedicated member of ZECT.
He knows that anyone who betrays ZECT will be destroyed. Therefore, he is given the mission to destroy Neo-ZECT, and he engages in battle with Oda, Kamen Rider Hercus.
Tetsuki transforms into a Rider using the Ketaros Zecter. He also has only one form and uses interesting weapon called ZECT's Kunaigun.
Ketaros fought fiercely against Kabuto in space until they both fell. Kabuto survived the incident, but Ketaros did not. However, he remained proud of being a member of ZECT until his death.
11. Kamen Rider Caucasus
The last Rider, who became Kabuto's main enemy in God Speed Love, is Issei Kurosaki who fight as Kamen Rider Caucasus.
He first appeared when he defeated Kamen Rider Hercus using Hyper Clock Up, leaving behind a blue rose after the attack. He was then sent by ZECT to space on a secret mission.
Issei Kurosaki transforms into a Kamen Rider using the Caucasus Zecter. Furthermore, this Kamen Rider also has the one form like Hercus and Ketaros. However, Caucasus has the advantage because he can use Hyper Clock Up to level up his power.
This ability is very troublesome because he can move at speeds above the average rider. Fortunately, Hyper Clock Up is able to be taken over by Kabuto with the help of Gattack.
In the end, Caucasus is defeated by Kabuto by kicking him towards a special missile before it hits the meteor.
