All Snake Breathing Techniques in Kimetsu no Yaiba, Explained

Serpent Breathing is a unique Breathing Style mastered by the Hashira named Obanai Iguro. When he uses this technique and attacks, his unique slashing pattern manifests the form of a white serpent.

In this article, we will discuss all forms/techniaues of Snake Breathing in Kimetsu no Yaiba. For more information, check out the review below!

1. Ichi no kata: Idagiri

When using Idagiri, Iguro moves like a writhing snake. Then, he unleashes several slashes in a winding pattern towards his enemy.

He demonstrated this technique in the final battle against Muzan.

2. Ni no kata: Kyōzu no Dokuga

The second technique is Kyōzu no Dokuga. When using this technique, Iguro moves very quickly behind the enemy.

After that, he unleashes a smooth sword slash to decapitate the enemy.

3. San no kata: Toguro Jime

When using the Toguro Jime, Iguro circles the enemy's body while pointing his sword.

After that, he slashes the enemy from multiple directions, making it difficult for them to dodge.

4. Shi no kata: Keija Sōsei

Compared to the previous technique, Keija Sōsei is simpler.

Iguro simply jumps forward and unleashes a horizontal slash to cut through the target's body with full force.

5. Go no kata: En'en Chōda

En'en Chōda allows Iguro to unleash slashes from multiple directions simultaneously.

This technique allows him to finish off enemies simultaneously, for example when he took out multiple demons in chapter 140.
