Spiritual Energy Power
Hachigen possesses an impressive amount of spiritual energy. Although Hachigen focuses primarily on Kidō, he is also capable of using other basic Shinigami techniques, such as swordplay and Shunpo.
Hachigen possesses extraordinary stamina and endurance in combat, as demonstrated when facing Baraggan. He often relies on his tactics and genius to observe his enemies' strengths in great detail.
Kidō Master
As mentioned previously, Hachigen is a Shinigami who specializes in Kidō. He is capable of creating barrier-based spells, from space-stone barriers to binding spells.
Interestingly, Hachigen can use these barriers for offensive attacks capable of inflicting fatal damage to enemies. He can also use them as catalysts to transport objects to specific locations.
For example, Hachigen transferred his rotting arm from Barragan's attack with a barrier he created. He then transferred it into Barragan's stomach.
Hachigen also mastered Kidō-based healing abilities. He called this ability Jikū Taikō. His healing abilities are extraordinary and can rival Orihime's Sōten Kisshun.
Hachigen has mastered two high-level Kidō spells: Gochūtekkan and Shijū no Saimon. The former was used by Hachigen to bind an enraged Ichigo, while the latter was demonstrated to restrain Barragan's Respira.
Hollowfication
As you know, Hachigen was a Shinigami who fell victim to Aizen's Hollowfication process. This incident enabled Hachigen to use Hollow powers in combat.
When Hachigen removed his Hollow mask, he gained a significant boost in power. However, he could only maintain the mask for three minutes.
