Naruto: 10 Strongest Hashirama Senju's Techniques

Hashirama is one of the greatest ninja in Naruto who is known as the God of Shinobi. In addition, Hashirama is the First Hokage as well as one of the founding fathers of Konoha village along with Uchiha Madara.

Hashirama has a very unique jutsu, namely the wood element jutsu aka mokuton. He has various terrifying techniques that are extremely powerful in combat. It can be seen from the following jutsu-jutsu. Curious? Come on, let's review it together!

10. Kuchiyose: Gosu Rashomon

Kuchiyose: Goju Rashomon is probably one of the strongest defense techniques in Naruto's story. So far, only Hashirama has been able to cast this powerful jutsu.

When using this jutsu, Hashirama will issue five Rashomon gates at once to withstand enemy attacks. Uniquely, Hashirama can change the position of the five gates depending on the direction of the enemy's attack. This technique is very strong to withstand the attacks of the Bijudama strengthened by the Susanoo sword.

9. Genjutsu: Kokuangyu no Jutsu

This jutsu is Hashirama's dangerous genjutsu technique. He had shown this jutsu when he fought against Hiruzen. This jutsu is not able to paralyze or deceive the opponent, but this move is very effective at eliminating the opponent's sense of sight.

Since the target is unable to see its surroundings, it becomes vulnerable to attack. Hiruzen even said that this jutsu is very dangerous and difficult to fight. However, Hiruzen can fight this jutsu by relying on his instinct to sense the opponent's attack.

8. Mokuton Hijutsu: Jukai Kotan

This technique is one of Hashirama's signature jutsu as well as the jutsu he used as the foundation to create the village of Konoha. When activating this jutsu, Hashirama will grow trees in a very short time with the wood element he has.

When the trees grow, Hashirama's jutsu can crack the ground. In addition, the speed of the growth of this tree can be used by Hashirama to catch the opponent so it is quite difficult to escape from this move.

7. Mokuton: Kajukai Korin

This one jutsu is one of Hashirama's jutsu which is very deadly and difficult to deal with. By utilizing the innate nature of the Wood Release, the user of this jutsu can grow flowering trees very quickly.

Flowers from the tree also have a dangerous poison. When released into the atmosphere, anyone who inhaled the poison would lose consciousness. In fact, the poison of this jutsu is able to penetrate the defenses of Susanoo users. One way to break this jutsu is to destroy the trees.

6. Mokuton: Mokuryu no Jutsu

When activating this jutsu, Hashirama will create a very large wooden dragon. Hashirama's wooden dragon is very similar to a dragon in Chinese mythology. He can use this jutsu to restrain the enemy or for offensive purposes.

This wooden dragon has the ability to absorb the chakra of its target. In addition, the target will not be able to use their abilities when bitten by this wooden dragon. What's interesting is Hashirama can turn the wooden dragon into a very large and powerful explosion.

5. Mokuton: Mokujin no Jutsu

Hashirama's next strongest jutsu is the Mokujin no Jutsu technique whose strength is considered equivalent to that of a bijuu. When using this technique, Hashirama will create a giant statue with an Oni-like face and a wooden dragon on the statue's shoulder.

Hashirama was also able to multiply the wooden dragon to attack the opponent. This technique is very powerful when used by Hashirama to fight against Madara who uses Susanoo. In addition, this technique is also able to withstand the standard attacks of the uncompressed Bijudama.

4. Sage Mode

Sage Mode is one technique that is very useful in combat. This technique allows the user to utilize natural chakra aka senjutsu and drastically increase the user's physical strength as well as attack.

Hashirama is one of the most powerful Sage Mode users. When using Sage Mode, Hashirama will have special black marks around his eyes and forehead. By utilizing natural energy, Hashirami's wooden jutsu became more effective in combat.

3. Senpo: Myojinmon

Senpo: Myojinmon is one of Hashirama Senju's greatest seal jutsu. Hashirama was able to use this jutsu when he activated Sage Mode. With this jutsu, Hashirama was able to create a large red torii or gate from above the sky towards the target.

With this technique, Hashirama was able to lock the movement of the Ten-Tails. In addition, the gate is also multipurpose because it can be used in several ways. For example, Hashirama could stack the gates to amplify their effect of immobilizing the opponent.

2. Shisekyoujin

Shishekiyojin is a very strong and special seal jutsu because this seal jutsu can only be used by strong ninja of the Kage class. This technique was demonstrated by the Kage who were resurrected as edo tensei during the Fourth Ninja World War.

When activating this technique, the Kage will take positions in the four corners and then create a red barrier cube that can be used to restrain and lock the movement of a very strong opponent, for example the Juubi.

Uniquely, this jutsu is very elastic because this red cube is not destroyed when hit by a Bijuudama attack from the Juubi and instead expands like rubber. Although powerful, this four red formation seal jutsu requires a lot of energy and makes the Hokage's range of motion limited.

1. Senpo Mokuton: Shin Susenju

Perhaps there is no need to argue, Hashirama Senju's strongest jutsu is the Senpo Mokuton jutsu: Shin Susenju which proved capable of defeating Madara Uchiha. To activate this jutsu, Hashirama needs to use Sage Mode first.

After that, Hashirama will create a giant wooden Buddha statue that has thousands of hands that Hashirama can control to attack his opponent. In addition, the main hand of this Buddha statue looks like it is praying.

What is clear, Hashirama is able to issue a barrage of attacks towards the opponent with this jutsu. With this jutsu, Hashirama was able to defeat the Kyubi easily. In addition, this technique is also effective against Madara Uchiha's Susanoo.
