7 "Key Spirits" and Their Powers in Kiba, Explained

Kiba is a classic anime series that's quite interesting to watch. In the anime, there are creatures called Spirits that can be summoned in battle. Among these spirits, the six strongest are called Key Spirits.

These six Spirits possess immense and unmatched power. When they merge together, they can form a new Spirit whose power is said to be able to save or even destroy the world.

For more information, check out the discussion of the 7 "Key Spirits" in the following article!

1. Amil Gaoul

Amil Gaoul is the most powerful of the six spirits. He initially appears in an incomplete form, but he can unleash powerful wind attacks. Gradually, he reveals his true power.

Amil Gaoul first awakens in Phoenix form, eventually taking on a humanoid form. When Amil Gaoul fully opens his eyes, he can unleash new, even more powerful powers than before, such as creating spears and tornadoes.

Thanks to this power, Amil Gaoul is considered the strongest of the six Key Spirits. He chose Zed as his master because he and Zed both shared a strong desire to stop the futile fighting between nations.

2. Pronimo

Next, there's the Key Spirit named Pronimo. Originally, it was divided into two parts. The first belonged to Zymot, while the second belonged to Kalbu-fu. Hugh managed to merge the two parts into one during his invasion of Kalbu-fu.

One of Pronimo's most interesting powers is its elastic, rubber-like body. It can also fire powerful lasers and create blue projectiles that function like guided missiles.

3. Sachura

Sachura is Noa's Key Spirit, which he received from a group of Nomads when he first arrived in that world. Sachura exhibits several interesting powers above those of most spirits.

For example, Sachura can create ring-like swords from its shoulders. It can use these rings as projectiles or melee weapons. It can also create destructive energy bombs.

4. Monardi

Monardi is a Key Spirit hidden beneath Stoopa, a building that symbolizes Neotopia's power. When Neotopia fell under Tusk's control, Monardi awakened and was acquired by Zed's mother.

However, Monardi later fell into the hands of several individuals, such as Xeem and Mirred. Monardi can create spears for close-quarters combat. It can also use them as bows and shoot concentrated energy arrows.

5. Dunamis

Unlike the other Key Spirits, Dunamis's powers are only briefly demonstrated in the story. It can create and shoot fireballs from holes in its palms.

Dunamis was originally held by Mirred, a member of the Tusk tribe. When Mirred failed to summon Tusk, Noah took Dunamis from her.

6. Shadin

Shadin is a Key Spirit owned by Sagiri, one of the Seekers. She then gave the spirit to Zed to help him find Noah.

Shadin appears to be the most powerful spirit in terms of physical strength. She is capable of unleashing brutal attacks. Furthermore, he can also create blue fire and lightning attacks.

7. Tusker

Tusker is the result of six Key Spirits combined into one. Tusker is said to have the power to build and destroy worlds. Furthermore, Tusker can control all spirits.

Tusker's ultimate goal is to wipe out all humanity and create a world exclusively for spirits. This ambition is fortunately thwarted by Zed and Amil Gaoul, along with the support of their allies.
