Niko can be considered the brains or strategic center of Team Y. He is able to unite all the members of Team Y and play according to the strategy they have developed. Despite this, they still lose to Team Z, who is more solid than them.
After being defeated by Team Z, all of Niko's teammates on Team Y were automatically eliminated. However, Niko managed to survive and qualify for the next selection because he was the team's top scorer.
