All Magellan's Techniques in One Piece, Explained

Magellan is the former chief warden of Impel Down. He is feared by the inmates because of his intimidating appearance and terrifying power.

Magellan ate the Doku Doku no Mi, a devil fruit that allows him to control poison in combat. He can launch devastating and deadly attacks in the battle.

This time, we would like to discuss all Magellan's  techniques in One Piece. Let's discuss them together!

1. Hydra

Hydra is Magellan's signature technique. He produces a large amount of poison within his body and then transforms it into a three-headed dragon.

The poisonous dragon will continuously hunt its target until it is hit. If the target is hit by this attack, it will suffer fatal damage. Its nervous system will be paralyzed, causing it to suffer excruciating pain until death.

2. Venom Road

Unlike the previous technique, Venom Road can be considered a support technique in combat.

Magellan can quickly travels within one of his Hydra's necks and out of its mouth to where he wants to go.

3. Chloro Ball

When using Chloro Ball, Magellan chews the poison like chewing gum. Afterward, he shoots a blue bubble at high speed at the opponent.

These bubbles can produce a poisonous gas explosion. Furthermore, the gas can make the opponent dizzy and make it difficult to move. This technique works similarly to tear gas.

4. Doku Fugu

Doku Fugu is a defensive technique Magellan uses. He inhales deeply, causing his body to expand like a pufferfish. This technique works similarly to Gomu Gomu no Fusen.

With his inflated body, Magellan has greater defensive capabilities. He has been shown to withstand Luffy's Gear Second attack.

5. Doku Gumo

Magellan's next strongest technique is Doku Gumo. When using this technique, Magellan exhales a large amount of poisonous breath. He then surrounds the entire battle area in a poisonous mist.

Uniquely, Magellan's breath resembles a spider. Not only that, the attacks from this technique can disrupt the opponent's focus and gradually weaken them.

6. Venom Demon: Jigoku no Shinpan

Venom Demon: Jigoku no Shinpan is Magellan's strongest technique, the most terrifying and feared by the prisoners. When activating this technique, he releases a poison called Kinjite and transforms it into a demon-like monster.

Interestingly, Magellan's poison, which was originally purple, changes to crimson. Furthermore, the poison becomes more deadly and can melt anything in its path. According to Magellan, this technique has the potential to destroy all of Impel Down.
